Democratic Party Debates: Des Moines, Iowa Betting Prop Odds

Des Moines Iowa Debate Prop Odds

We’re less than three weeks away from the Iowa caucus and the race to earn the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination is tight atop the oddsboard with Bernie Sanders now the slight favorite over former vice-president Joe Biden.

Tonight, six candidates will take part in a two-hour debate beginning at 9 p.m. ET at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. It’s the last debate before the February 3 caucus.

The six candidates to qualify were Sanders (+215 to win the nomination), Biden (+225), Elizabeth Warren (+650), Pete Buttigieg (+900), Amy Klobuchar (+3300) and Tom Steyer (+12500). Andrew Yang (+1600) met the donor threshold but didn’t fare well enough in recent polls to join tonight’s field. Steyer qualified thanks to two last-minute FOX News polls.

Despite Sanders’ and Biden’s heavy lead over the rest of the Democratic field, things can change overnight with one incredible performance during this evening’s debate. BetOnline looks to bring everybody together with a small slate of Democratic debate prop bets.
