Rivalo Sportsbook Review
Still relatively new to the online betting market, Rivalo is based out of Curacao, with markets available for our South American and European bettors. Established in 2013, Rivalo is available in ten languages, including Polish, Russian, Portuguese, Turkish, French and Italian, making it easy to place a bet no matter where you’re from or what language you speak. Unfortunately, North American players are unable to sign up at Rivalo, so Canadians and Americans are out of luck, even though Rivalo covers many American sports.
They also have casino and live casino integration, so you can place your wagers across all gambling markets from one account. Play live Roulette, Blackjack, Baccarat, Texas Hold’em, and many other live casino games in real time, from the comfort of your home. There’s no need to travel to Las Vegas, you simply log in on your computer or mobile device, and you’re ready to play high definition casino games right away. In-game chat rooms allow you to communicate with the other players and the dealer, giving that real casino table game experience.
Signing up at Rivalo is fairly simple, you are required to enter in your personal information that appears on your passport or license and you’re ready to start making deposits. Make sure you enter your correct information because if you request a withdrawal they will require identity verification, so all information must be correct, or you won’t be able to access your winnings.
Making a deposit at Rivalo is fairly easy. They accept payment options such as Paysafecard, Ecopayz, Neteller, Skrill, Visa, Mastercard, Bitcoin and Bank Transfers. There are no fees when making a deposit, but bank transfers take approximately three to five days regardless if you are depositing or withdrawing money. Both credit card options have a three to five day waiting period when making a withdrawal as well. Rivalo will allow three withdrawals a week, free of charge. If you need to make more withdrawals before your week is up, there is a five dollar processing fee. All options require a minimum of $10 bet, except for Neteller and Skrill who only require a one-dollar deposit or withdrawal.
Rivalo has a very standard 100% match bonus up to R$300 as a welcome bonus to all new players once they make their first deposit. The odd thing about this is that they advertise in USD, but don’t accept American players, which can be a bit misleading for some bettors. Also, according to their Bonus conditions, residents of Switzerland, Luxembourg, Norway, Finland and Montenegro are unable to claim the bonus. This bonus is only available for sports bets, so any gameplay on casino tables will not count towards the bonus rollover.
There is also a Combination Bet Bonus, where bettors can double their winnings by betting in combination bets. Rivalo will pay out a bonus of up to 25% for all combination bets that include at least 5 bets. For 5-9 bets, you’ll receive 5%, 10-14 bets will receive 10%, 15-19 bets will receive 15%, 20-24 bets will receive 20% and 25 or more bets will pay out 25%.
As for the sportsbook itself, Rivalo offers plenty of football bets from markets around the world. They have every league imaginable, and are already taking futures bets on the 2018 World Cup. They offer markets in Tennis, Basketball, Ice Hockey, Handball, American football, and even baseball, rugby and e-Sports are available. You are able to view your games in ranges from three hours to three days. They unfortunately don’t have a Asian handicap option, which is surprising considering how many football markets they have available at any given time.
When it comes to customer service, they definitely don’t have the best, but they are improving year after year. They are a young sportsbook, and are learning as they go. They have a live chat built into their site where you can chat with a representative, along with a contact form that you can fill out and receive an email response within a few business days. Their FAQ is fairly bare, with the most basic questions being answered – you’ll likely have to reach out to customer service if you have more complicated questions. They also have a betting glossary available for those who need to brush up on their betting lingo or are confused by a betting type or option.
Betting on the go is easy at Rivalo. Simply head to m.rivalo.com, then you can either enter your mobile number or scan the QR code, and you’ll receive a link to their mobile site where you can log in and start betting. It’s free, and there are no apps to download that could take up space on your phone or tablet.
Their live betting structure isn’t the easiest to understand. It could be confusing for new bettors or first time Rivalo bettors. It doesn’t boast the same clarity as other books we’ve reviewed. It would be easy for new bettors to place the wrong bet by accident, because everything looks so jumbled. There’s definitely room for improvement, but a cool feature allows you to organize bets by time or sport.
