Croatia Look to Continue Magical Run at Euros

One of the best teams in the tournament so far will take on one of the most disappointing teams in the tournament so far in a matchup between Croatia and Portugal. If you don’t know which one is one is which, maybe you shouldn’t be betting on this game.

  • Portugal is undefeated in 3 matches against Croatia.
  • These teams scored a combined 9 goals in their group play games.
  • Croatia has never made it past the quarterfinal stage of the Euros.

Croatia’s tactics and execution have been incredible through their first three games and as such have been pegged as slight +160 favorites on Bovada against the constantly underachieving Portuguese team that will be +190 underdogs.

Portugal’s best result in the Euros came in 2004 when they hosted the tournament and finished runners-up to Greece in the final. This team is not favored to make it far in these Euros as they drew all three of their group play matches. Two of those draws came at the hands of Iceland and Hungary – yikes.

Croatia is one of the favorites to make it out of their bracket and to make up one half of the final after a stellar run in group play that saw them drop only two points in a game they should’ve won.

There are likely to be goals in this game as both teams are fairly attack oriented and with a total line of 2, the OVER may hit and it may hit early.
