Defending Serie A champion and current table topper Juventus faces a potentially tricky task on Saturday heading to Torino in a local derby. However, the Old Lady have dropped just two points in the league all season and have a healthy advantage over Napoli in second place. With their rivals not playing until Sunday afternoon, Juventus has a fantastic chance to extend its lead at the top of the table, temporarily at least.

It would appear that there is no team in Serie A currently capable of stopping Juventus in its tracks. Napoli has already tried and failed, and last week it was the turn of Inter in the Derby d’Italia.
While the game was close, Juventus once again emerged victorious. They have won 14 of their 15 league games so far this season, drawing the other one, and the possibility of the Old Lady going unbeaten all season is a real one.
However, Torino has been in some encouraging form of its own of late. They sit sixth in the table, three points behind Lazio, and have lost just one of their last six matches in the league.
Nevertheless, it is still Juventus that comes into this derby as the clear favorite to claim local bragging rights. You can back the Old Lady to pick up yet another win at just -182 while Torino, despite home advantage, is out at +550 to take the points. A draw is priced in the middle at +280.
Juventus to edge close encounter
While we are expecting this to be a closely fought contest – local derbies usually are – we are still expecting Juventus to take the points. While it is never easy trying to predict the exact scoreline of any football match, a narrow 2-1 win for the visitors comes in at +750 and, given how Juventus has been performing in Serie A so far this season, would seem a sensible bet to make.
That result would also allow you to back OVER 2.5 goals in the game, which is priced at +110, as well as both teams to score, which is slightly lower at +105. However, you could try to push those winnings even further by applying combo betting, which allows you to opt for multiple outcomes on the same match at higher odds.

In addition, Juventus is at +162 to score in both halves and +333 to actually go out and win both halves. The champions have very few competitors who can give them a contest, but Torino may well be one of them. It is unlikely, however, to make much difference in the final outcome.
