It’s become a worldwide betting phenomenon and perhaps my greatest creation. Of course, I’m talking about the Greasy Moneyline Parlay (GMP) that my faithful Twitter audience anticipates each week and that often results in large crowds of hard-core party animals gathering in the Odds Shark parking lot. It’s not just a type of bet, it’s truly becoming a lifestyle that’s enriching the lives of many.

New fans are coming aboard each week and many of them bombard me with questions to the point where I can’t even use a public bathroom at Burger King without being asked about it. As a result, I’ve created this hub with some answers to frequently asked questions along with the announcement of each week’s GMP.

It’s not just a type of bet, it’s truly becoming a lifestyle that’s enriching the lives of many.

Some of you will complain that you need to click over from Twitter to see the parlay now, but this article will increase traffic on the site each week, which will give me ammunition for my weekly request for a raise, so make sure to check back often and tell your friends. Anyways…

What is a Greasy Moneyline Parlay?

A Greasy Moneyline Parlay is a four- to six-leg parlay that combines large moneyline favorites across various sports with the goal of getting an even-money payout, or slightly better.

What are the rules for a Greasy Moneyline Parlay?

Listen closely…

1. Be greasy, not greedy. No more than six bets on the ticket (I deviated from this once and learned my lesson, dammit!)

2. Nothing lower than -300

3. No NHL or MLB

4. Max of one of the following: soccer, UFC, college basketball, NBA

5. Can’t have more road than home teams on the ticket

6. The ticket should consist mainly of football games (a college football team has only lost once in GMP history!)

Is there a Greasy Moneyline Parlay season?

Yes! GMPs are meant for football season. During the GMP offseason, A$$hole Parlays (AP) take over. An AP involves a max of three moneyline favorites. More on those during AP season…
