2015 SuperContest: Week 12 Lines Out

The two remaining undefeated teams in the NFL may have their toughest tests of the season based on the lines on the Week 12 SuperContest Card.

The Carolina Panthers (10-0) will be playing in one of the three Thanksgiving games on Thursday, visiting the Dallas Cowboys (3-7) as 1.5-point underdogs. The Cowboys are a perfect 3-0 with quarterback Tony Romo under center and 0-7 without him, and many believe they are still the best team in the NFC East regardless of their record.

Lions favorites on the week 12 card

The Detroit Lions (3-7) kick off Thanksgiving by hosting the Philadelphia Eagles (4-6), who also remain in the hunt for the NFC East title with a losing record. The Lions are 2.5-point home favorites after winning their last two games, including an 18-16 upset of the Green Bay Packers (7-3) two weeks ago at Lambeau Field. The Packers will host the Chicago Bears (4-6) as 8.5-point favorites in another NFC North matchup at Lambeau on Thursday night, and they have covered nine of the past 10 meetings.

The other unbeaten team left will not play until the Sunday Night Football game, as the banged-up New England Patriots (10-0) visit the Denver Broncos (8-2) as 3-point road favorites on the Week 12 SuperContest Card. The Patriots have had close calls the last two weeks and will be facing a Broncos team with Brock Osweiler at quarterback. The host is 5-0 straight-up and against the spread in the past five meetings.

Some may have thought Denver’s Peyton Manning would be squaring off against New England’s Tom Brady according to the NFL odds, but Osweiler has looked good so far and is the healthiest option right now. The Patriots are coming off a 20-13 victory versus the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football and have been struggling offensively without wide receiver Julian Edelman and running back Dion Lewis due to injuries.

games with tight spreads on schedule

Five other NFL games scheduled for Sunday and Monday also have point spreads of three points or less in the SuperContest at the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook. They include the Houston Texans (-3) vs. the New Orleans Saints, the Atlanta Falcons (Pick’em) vs. the Minnesota Vikings, the New York Giants (-3) at the Washington Redskins, the Oakland Raiders (-1.5) at the Tennessee Titans and the Cleveland Browns (-2.5) vs. the Baltimore Ravens on MNF.
