Steelers Easily Most Popular NFL Pick in Week 10 of Las Vegas SuperContest

Last week, there were two teams that were easily the most popular plays among the record field of 1,854 entrants in the SuperContest at the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook. In Week 10, one of those two teams is back as the top NFL consensus pick overall, selected by 671 (36 percent) of contestants and playing one of only two remaining in the league with one loss. That would be the Pittsburgh Steelers (4-4) hosting the Dallas Cowboys (7-1) in the marquee matchup during the day.

The Steelers are listed as 2.5-point home favorites on the Week 10 SuperContest card, and they have since moved to 3-point chalk at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark. While Pittsburgh is the team chosen more than any other in the field overall among in the SuperContest, there is a different team that Team OddsShark likes even more. The New Orleans Saints (4-4) are also 2.5-point home favorites against the Denver Broncos (6-3), and they are the second-most popular play in the field with 550 picking them. However, exactly half the team members (12) took the Saints in Week 10 as well.

New Orleans is coming off a 41-23 rout of the San Francisco 49ers (1-7) as 5-point road faves last week while Denver lost 30-20 to the Oakland Raiders (7-2) as 1-point road underdogs on Sunday Night Football. Pete Prisco is the only team member who picked the Broncos to pull off the upset despite the fact that they have won the past four meetings with the Saints and own a 3-1 mark against the spread in those games, according to the OddsShark NFL Database. One of the 12 members on the Saints is Anthony Riccobono, who trails group leader Nick Kostos by just a half-point in the team standings along with Hank Lockwood. Ben Eckstein is one point back in fourth place.

One game that Team OddsShark is split 50-50 on is the Philadelphia Eagles (4-4) versus the Atlanta Falcons (6-3). Six members are on each side, with the game listed as a Pick’em on the card, and the Falcons currently sitting as 1-point road chalk at sportsbooks. Atlanta has dropped six of the past seven meetings, going 1-5-1 ATS.
