SuperContest Team OS Wk 14 Review

There are just three weeks remaining in the SuperContest at the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook, and one bad week or more down the stretch could literally cost contestants money, with the competition heating up for the Top 50 spots that will be paid out at the end of the NFL season.

Team OddsShark leader David Fucillo suffered only his second losing week of the season at 2-3 yet fell from being tied for seventh overall to tied for 15th. Nick Kostos was also tied for second in the group and dropped to third, also falling out of the Top 50 overall with a second consecutive 2-3 performance in Week 14.

Not all news was bad for Team OddsShark though as Joe Ostrowski moved into sole possession of second place in the Team OddsShark Standings with a 4-1 week. Ostrowski was previously tied with Kostos but now owns a two-point lead over him while trailing Fucillo by one point for the group lead.

Rounding Again Remains Overall Contest Leader

All of them are still chasing overall leader Rounding Again for the $906,675 grand prize after he went 4-1 for the second straight week, becoming the first contestant to surpass 50 points with 50.5 out of a possible 70 (72 percent). Michael Andrew went 5-0 to jump into second overall with 48 points.

Ryan Fowler was also a perfect 5-0 in Week 14 for Team OddsShark to move into a tie for fourth place in the group with Matt Ufford, who went 4-1 for the third straight time.

Other group members who enjoyed winning weeks include Jon Anik (4-1), Randall the Handle (4-1), Rob Pizzola (3-2), Pete Prisco (3-2), Eric Sollenberger (3-2), David Kaplan (3-2), Ben Eckstein (3-2) and WhatifSports (3-2).

Randall finally made it out of the group cellar by winning for the fourth time in five weeks, moving into a tie with WhatifSports and Kelly Stewart for 18th place out of the 21 members with 33 points (47 percent).

Clay Travis is one point back of them and resides alone in last place after going 2-3, his fifth losing week in the past six. The OddsShark Super Computer went 2-3 in Week 14 and sits in 16th place with 34.5 points.
