Week 8 Team OddsShark SuperContest NFL Picks

The top of the Team OddsShark leaderboard performed very well in Week 7 and hopes to stay hot in Week 8 as we near the midway point of the world-famous SuperContest at the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook. The seven members leading the group standings with 20 points or more went a combined 24-8-3 on their NFL picks last week, led by team leader Randall the Handle and Jon Anik, who each went an impressive 4-0-1.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, only two members ranked between 10th and 22nd in the team standings posted a winning record, defending group champion Paulo Antunes and Ben Eckstein. The good news is no team members were worse than 2-3.

Consensus Loves Packers as Biggest Underdogs in Rodgers’ Career

For the second week in a row, an NFC North is the most popular pick in the SuperContest. The Green Bay Packers (3-2-1) are coming off their bye week and listed as the biggest underdogs in the career of quarterback Aaron Rodgers at +9.5 visiting the undefeated Los Angeles Rams (7-0). The Packers were selected a week-high 1,229 times in the SuperContest overall, which is 39 percent of the record field of 3,123.

Green Bay was picked by seven Team OddsShark members as well, including Randall, Anik and Sam Panayotovich, all of whom are currently ranked in the group’s Top 5. However, Nick Kostos is ranked second in the group and decided to fade Rodgers and the Packers with a pick on the Rams. View the other Top 5 consensus picks right here.

Team OddsShark Siding With Vikings Over Saints on Sunday Night Football

The Minnesota Vikings were the top consensus play in Week 7 overall, and this week they are the most popular pick among the team. The Vikings were selected by 10 of the 22 members (46 percent) as they host the New Orleans Saints in a Pick’em Sunday Night Football matchup. This also happens to be a rematch of one of last year’s most memorable playoff games, with Stefon Diggs scoring the game-winning touchdown for Minnesota as time expired to advance his team to the NFC Championship Game.

The Philadelphia Eagles are the second-most popular play both by the group and overall. The Eagles take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in an early Sunday game at Wembley Stadium in London, and they were picked eight times (36 percent).
