Mississippi State vs Alabama Odds

The Alabama Crimson Tide have dominated on the field going 20-5 SU in their last 25, but the story has been different at the betting window with the Tide going just 8-16-1 ATS in that span. ‘Bama will look to fix that for bettors when they visit Mississippi State Saturday.

Alabama is coming off their biggest win of the season with a 30-16 victory over LSU last week. Running back Derrick Henry has been playing out of his mind over the past three games with 589 rushing yards and seven touchdowns, including three last week against LSU.

Mississippi State is still technically alive in the SEC West, but will need a lot of help for that to happen. Quarterback Dak Prescott is not getting Heisman looks this season, but the senior signal caller has thrown for 18 touchdowns with only one interception while adding seven rushing touchdowns.

FSU Struggling When Visiting Clemson

If Florida State wants to win the ACC Atlantic they will need a win over Clemson this Saturday, but the Seminole have struggled in Clemson. FSU is 1-5 SU and ATS in their past six games at Memorial Stadium.

FSU could have easily folded last week coming off a loss to Georgia Tech and without starting quarterback Everett Golson and running back Dalvin Cook, but the Seminoles kept calm and won 45-21 over Syracuse. Backup quarterback Sean Maguire let his play on the field do the talking, with 348 passing yards and three touchdowns, while letting everyone know FSU will be fine if Golson remains out.

Clemson can legitimately run the table with only FSU looking like they could be a bump in the road for the Tigers. In the past two games Clemson has scored 114 points with quarterback Deshaun Watson putting up six touchdowns and no interceptions.

Week 10 Odds: Pittsburgh vs Notre Dame

Notre Dame has been faltering when it comes to covering spread against Pitt with the Fighting Irish going just 1-4-1 ATS in the past six against the Panthers. The two teams will renew acquaintances Saturday when they meet at Heinz Field.

If Notre Dame wants to finish out the stretch run hot and put their name into the BCS Playoff conversation they need to do a better job at blocking for running back C.J. Prosise than they did in their win against Temple. Prosise rushed 14 times for 25 yards last week, both season lows for the senior.

Pitt could have started some serious chatter about their standing within the nation had they picked up a win over UNC last week, but they are relegated to hoping for others to falter now.

Duke Can’t Get Over The Hump vs UNC

Though the Duke/UNC rivalry has always gotten the publicity on the court, this football showdown will have major implications on the ACC. However, Duke has been on the wrong side of the rivalry with the Blue Devils losing 17 of the past 20.

Duke is coming off two extremely close games; a quadruple-overtime victory over Virginia Tech and a three-point loss to Miami. The Blue Devils, who have prided themselves on defense this season, have allowed a combined 73 points in their past two games.

The Tar Heels have yet to lose a game since opening their slate with a loss and they look like a completely different team. The Tar Heels have been stepping their game up against better competition, especially last week when they contained Pitt’s running game.

Alabama Failing to Cover At Home

Despite a 4-1 SU record at home this season, the Alabama Crimson Tide have failed to cover in every single one of those games. ‘Bama will not have an easy task to end that trend this weekend as they play host to Leonard Fournette and LSU on Saturday.

The biggest matchup in college football this weekend will be Alabama’s run defense against Fournette. ‘Bama has only allowed a 100 yard rusher twice this season and are third in the nation in rushing yards allowed. However they will be facing current Heisman favorite Fournette who leads the country in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns.

A win for LSU this weekend will mean a lot for a team that is facing teams ranked in the Top 25 in three of their final four games of the regular season. On the other sideline, a loss by ‘Bama means they will likely be kissing their SEC title hopes goodbye.

College Football Week 10 Betting Trends

The Kansas State Wildcats are 7-1 straight up and 6-2 against the spread in their last eight home games in the month of November.

TCU vs Oklahoma State Betting Outlook

TCU continues to be one of the best, and safest teams, to wager on in college football with the Horned Frogs going 20-3 SU and 17-6 ATS in their past 23 games. TCU will look to take sole possession of first in the Big 12 when they visit Oklahoma State Saturday.

TCU ranks second in the nation in points per game and yards per game, with the Horned Frogs averaging 48.9 points and 616 yards. Quarterback Trevone Boykin continues to bolster his bid for the Heisman as the senior signal caller has thrown for 824 yards, seven touchdowns and no picks in the past two games.

Oklahoma State’s offense is not far behind though as the Cowboys are in the top 10 in both points per game and passing yards per game. In the past two games, Oklahoma State passers have thrown for 859 yards, eight touchdowns and one interception.

Life Without Russell Begins for Baylor

Baylor’s offense has been damn near unstoppable this season with Seth Russell at the helm, but a season-ending neck injury has thrust true freshman Jarrett Stidham into the starting role. Baylor, who has faced an average closing spread of -34.9 this season, will start their life without Russell this Thursday when they host Kansas State.

Stidham has appeared in every game this season for Baylor, but it was always in garbage time when the Bears have run up their lead to ridiculous margins. However, Baylor is more about the system than the quarterback and with a wealth of offensive weapons and a great offensive line, Baylor’s coaching staff is not expected much of a change.

Kansas State can empathize with the idea of injuries with the team losing their starting quarterback and two members of the secondary this season. The Wildcats have not won a game since opening the season 3-0.

Mizzou Has Been Dominant in November

Missouri may seem rather pedestrian so far this season, with a 4-4 SU record, but they have excelled in November with eight consecutive wins and covers in the month. The Tigers will look to remain perfect when they host the Mississippi State Bulldogs Thursday.

Mizzou went through a bit of a roller coaster this past week as they reinstated starting quarterback Maty Mauk only to suspend him for the remainder of the season six days later. Freshman signal caller Drew Lock will likely retain the starting role after getting the call the past four weeks, but the quarterback has not registered a touchdown pass in three straight games.

Despite a quieter season in Starkville, Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott has been near flawless with 14 passing touchdowns and one interception while adding another seven trips to the endzone with his legs.

College Football Week 10 Odds Analysis

The TCU Horned Frogs are 20-1 straight up and 15-6 against the spread over their last 21 games.
