Ball State Cardinals Visit the Western Michigan Broncos in Week 10 College Football – Betting Odds and Pick

Getting a win and covering the posted spread will be the goals for the Ball State Cardinals on Thursday when they take on the Western Michigan Broncos at Waldo Stadium in Week 10 action.

Western Michigan bring a 5-3 record (5-3 ATS) to the Week 10 betting matchup against the 3-6 Ball State Cardinals, who are 4-5 ATS against the spread. Over under betting has seen Western Michigan go 5-2-1 so far and the Cardinals go 3-6.

Buffalo Bulls vs Kent State Golden Flashes Week 10 Betting Preview, Odds and Pick

The visiting Buffalo Bulls hope to send their betting fans to the pay window on Thursday as they look to cover the spread at Dix Stadium against the Golden Flashes.

Supporters of the Buffalo Bulls have seen them go 4-4 and 5-3 ATS so far this season, while the Kent State Golden Flashes are at 3-5 and 3-5 ATS. In totals betting, the Golden Flashes are 3-5, while the Bulls are 4-4.

Toledo Undefeated SU and ATS So Far

The Toledo Rockets are 7-0 SU and ATS this season, though their competition has been less than stellar with only one of their seven opponents carrying a winning record at this point in the season. Toledo will play host to the Northern Illinois Huskies Tuesday night.

The past three games have seen Toledo’s offense average 50.7 points per game and have an average scoring margin of plus-30 points. Quarterback Phillip Ely has gone off for the Rockets with the senior throwing 11 touchdowns in the past three.

NIU is coming into Tuesday night just as hot as Toledo, winning three-straight games while averaging 51 points per game during that span. Huskies running back Joel Bouagnon is tied for third in the nation with 14 rushing touchdowns this season.

Ohio State vs Minnesota Week 10 Odds

Minnesota is coming off a heart-breaking 29-26 loss at the hands of Michigan last week, but the Golden Gophers have proven to be great at regrouping for bettors. Minnesota is 7-2 ATS in their past nine games following a loss. The Gophers will visit the dominant Ohio State Buckeyes this Saturday.

It was an emotional night for Minnesota when they took the field against Michigan as they did it without long time head coach Jerry Kill who retired earlier in the week. Minnesota has now lost their past two games and three of their past four with a Bowl bid quickly evaporating.

Quarterback J.T. Barrett made all the headlines for Ohio State last week as he was arrested early Saturday morning for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Barrett will be suspended for this game, meaning Cardale Jones will be, once again, thrust into the spotlight.

Washington vs Utah Odds and Pick

Thanks to a stellar defense, the Huskies have been an amazing UNDER play with 11 of their past 12 games failing to top the closing total. Washington will play host to Pac-12 leading Utah Saturday.

Despite playing in the high-octane Pac-12, Washington has allowed just 16.9 points per game this season. The Huskies are coming off a 49-3 victory over Arizona, a team that had only scored less than 30 points once previous to that game.

Utah bounced back with a win over Oregon State last week after being humiliated by USC the game before. If the Utes are playing their top game offensively, the catalyst will be running back Devontae Booker, but if the team needs to rely on quarterback Travis Wilson it’s only a matter of time before he makes a mistake.

UCLA a Safe Bet Against Oregon State

If UCLA wants to hang around the Pac-12 title picture they will need to continue their traditionally good play against Oregon State. The Bruins are 7-3 SU and 8-1 ATS in their past 10 contests against the Beavers.

UCLA will need to iron out some issues as they enter a daunting finish to the season with three of their final four on the road. The Bruins struggled in the second half against Colorado allowing 25 after halftime.

Oregon State has lost their past five games, all of which were conference games. The Beavers are allowing more than 10 points per game than they are averaging so far this season.

Michigan vs Rutgers Week 10 Odds

The Michigan Wolverines have been far from a safe play at The Big House during November, as the team is 4-12 ATS in their past 16 home games during the month. Michigan will play host to the faltering Rutgers Scarlet Knights this weekend.

It will be important to watch the status of Michigan quarterback Jake Rudock who left the third quarter of last week’s victory with an apparent upper body injury. Redshirt freshman Wilton Speight came in at quarterback and despite only completing three of his six passes, he did throw the game-winning touchdown.

If there were illusions about Rutgers being better than their record, the past two games obliterated that. The Scarlet Knights have lost their past two games by a combined score of 97-17.

Michigan State Can’t Get Past Nebraska

Michigan State is undefeated and are coming off a bye week, but are facing a Nebraska team that they’ve historically struggled against. The Spartans are 2-5 SU and just 1-6 ATS in their past seven games against Nebraska, with those two wins taking place in the past two seasons.

Michigan State is undefeated and will likely need to stay that way if they want to win the Big Ten with both Ohio State and Iowa flawless so far this season. Spartans quarterback Connor Cook has been phenomenal this season with 17 touchdowns and only two interceptions while posting a 146.5 rating.

This season has been one of the worst for Nebraska as the team is just 2-6 SU and winless within the conference. First year coach Mike Riley watched his team pull off something terrifying on Halloween as Nebraska lost to the 1-6 Purdue Boilermakers.

Temple Has Been Dominating SU & ATS

The Temple Owls have been one of the surprising teams of the season with a perfect 7-0 record, along with fellow AAC members Memphis and Houston. The Owls have also been a solid ATS play during their eight game winning streak, seven this season and one last season, with a 6-2 ATS record. Temple will host the Notre Dame Fighting Irish Saturday.

Notre Dame is coming off a roller coaster of a game that saw the Irish blow a two touchdown lead, go down by 17 points and rally to win in the fourth quarter. Irish running back C.J. Prosise continues to be the centerpiece of the team’s attack with the senior back rushing for 272 yards and five touchdowns in the past two games.

Temple comes into this game undefeated and ranked inside the Top 25 for the first time since 1979. The Owls are coming off an uncharacteristically jittery performance with 12 penalties for 114 yards in their last win. It will be critical for Temple to keep their emotions in check as they host a showdown with another Top 25 team. The last time they hosted a game this big, most players on the team weren’t even born yet.

Oregon State Struggling on the Road

Oregon State will need to reverse some history to pick up a big win when they visit Utah this weekend. The Beavers have dropped their past five games on the road and have failed to cover in each of those contests. In three road games this season, Oregon has lost each by an average of 28.7 points per game.

What looked like their first winnable game in several weeks saw the Oregon State Beavers lose a snoozefest to Colorado. The Beavers have been downright hard to watch over the past few weeks, with the team allowing an average of 38.9 points per game and scoring just 18.8.

Utah is coming off an embarrassing loss to unranked USC. Utes fans biggest fears came to fruition when bad Travis Wilson showed up last week with the quarterback tossing four interceptions—this coming from a team that had only given up seven interceptions all season before the game.
