Benson Henderson will get his chance to avenge his only professional loss when he defends his UFC Lightweight championship against Anthony Pettis at UFC 164.

And while he opened as -160 chalk back in July when this fight was announced, it has been bet to nearly even odds at some sportsbooks.

UFC odds and prop options are already available on every fight on the card, which will also see the return to the Octagon of former UFC Heavyweight champion Josh Barnett.  [ See dozens of UFC 164 round props and over-under betting options ]

In their first meeting Henderson and Pettis fought a technical battle that was close. This version should be much like the first and will likely be a back-and-forth fight that goes the distance. Current MMA odds at 5Dimes have Henderson as a -120 favorite, while the Pettis upset will pay +100 at Bovada.

With a potential decision as the likely scenario, the fight goes to decision option at -140 carries a little more value. Over 4.5 rounds at UFC odds of -150 and fight starts round five at -160 at 5Dimes could all be packaged in a parlay for a nice payday if Henderson pushes his streak of eight straight fights to nine that end in a decision.

Anthony Pettis    100
Benson Henderson    -120

Frank Mir will have his hands full at UFC 164 when he tries to spoil the return of former UFC Heavyweight champion Josh Barnett. Mir will have great difficulty with the grappling skills of Barnett, who will likely take-down and beat-down Mir for a KO win.

Moneyline action at 5Dimes is offering Barnett at a bargain MMA odds price of -175, while the Mir upset pays +155 at Bovada. Barnett wins inside the distance at +155 and the Under 2.5 rounds at -125 are also good options when one factors in Mir’s poor record against opponents who weigh in bigger than him.

Featherweights Erik Koch and Dustin Poirier are closely handicapped with Koch currently sitting as the -150 favorite at Bovada. Poirier will pay +130 at 5Dimes for the upset but will likely need to get his opponent on his back to be successful.
