Carey Vanier made it to the Bellator Season 2 Lightweight tournament semi-finals but was stopped by Toby Imada at Bellator 17. This will be his first fight back since that loss, so fight fans should see a motivated Vanier on Thursday night. Clementi, who has been matched up against some of the toughest Lightweight fighters in the world, will be making his Bellator debut on the card and will be coming off a first-round submission win over Lenny Nelson. The Horwich vs. Schambari fight will be a chance for Schambari to get back on track after his second loss to Brian Baker his last time out. Horwich has lost six of his last nine fights, and will have his hands full against Schambari who has only lost to Baker in his entire career. Horwich did manage a submission win over Thales Lietes his last time out and could surprise if the fight goes to the ground. Georgi "Insane" Karakhanyan has 11 of his 13 wins by stoppage and he has never been stopped, only losing twice via decision. He will be tested by dangerous WEC veteran Anthony Leone, who suffered his first loss against Renan do Nascimento Mota Pegado in his last fight. Karakhayan will be looking for a victory after suffering a unanimous decision loss at Bellator 18 to eventual Season 2 Featherweight Champion Joe Warren. The undercard features five local interest fights; Tonny Canales (2-5) vs. J.C. Pennington (19-11-1) Tony Roberts (11-5) vs. Kelvin Doss (7-4) Jonathan Mackles (5-1) vs. Brock Kerry (6-5) Josh Rafferty (9-7) vs. Charlie Rader (10-3) Scott O'Shaughnessy (1-0) vs. Gabe Woods (2-2)
