Just three weeks after losing the UFC middleweight title, Michael Bisping will step into the Octagon once again. “The Count” will travel to Shanghai, China to take on Kelvin Gastelum.

Bisping will be replacing Anderson Silva, who failed a USADA drug test about one month before the fight.

With such a short turnaround and facing a much younger opponent, Bisping finds himself as a +190 underdog to Gastelum – who is -240 according to sportsbook Bovada.

The former champion looks to wear down his opponent over time with his volume-based striking. His striking has come a long way both offensively and defensively thanks to his improved footwork, which allows Bisping to dictate the space of the fight.

Gastelum is in an odd place in his career. The southpaw is trying to prove he is more than just a gatekeeper, as he has struggled to put together wins against the elite in the division. Gastelum is a fast, aggressive fighter who uses those skills well to overcome his size disadvantage at middleweight. Much like Bisping, he overwhelms opponents with his strikes.
