UFC 161: Evans vs. Henderson Odds

Rashad Evans will look to snap a two-fight losing streak and get back on track in the Light Heavyweight division going up against veteran Dan Henderson, who is also looking to get back to contender status.

While the two losses have quelled Evans’ momentum, they did come against two high-quality fighters in Jon Jones and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira. Still, Dan Henderson is no slouch himself, and looked up to the task in a close split-decision in his return to action in February

The odds are as close as it gets on this one with Rashad Evans posted as a -130 favorite at Bovada, and Dan Henderson going off at +100 to upset. It wouldn’t be too much of an upset as it is such a tough match to call, but Evans has too much to lose here and should be focused and ready with his best effort.

Roy Nelson has ended each of his last three fights in the first round with a knockout by punches, and he’ll look to do the same against Stipe Miocic in their Heavyweight bout. Nelson’s iron jaw makes him an unlikely candidate to be knocked out while Miocic was just knocked out in his last fight.

Roy Nelson is a -250 favorite at Bovada, but his backers might prefer the odds on Nelson winning “inside the distance” at -182 or “by TKO/KO” at -160 at 5Dimes.

Alexis Davis is a -380 favorite at 5Dimes over Rosi Sexton in each woman’s UFC debut in their Bantamweight matchup this Saturday. A quick glance at the records might suggest that Sexton is live at +315, but Davis’ record is much more hard earned in tougher women’s MMA leagues than Sexton has fought in.

Look for Davis to take this one by submission or decision.

Ryan Jimmo lost his first fight in six years in his last trip to the Octagon, but he should be able to rebound as a -250 favorite at Bovada, with his opponent Igor Pokrajac paying +195 on an upset.

Bettors looking for a bettor payout on Jimmo should consider betting him to win by decision at +130 at 5Dimes; six of his last eight wins have come via decision.
