Oh, how the times have changed since the first time Michael Bisping and Dan Henderson met. Since UFC 100 – which featured Hendo landing one of the nastiest knockouts you’ll ever see on ‘The Count’ – we’ve seen Bisping go on a shocking career renaissance to win the UFC middleweight championship and we’ve seen Henderson deteriorate to a shell of his former self.
However, Henderson will be getting a middleweight title shot against Bisping at UFC 204. Bisping hit the boards as a -240 favorite with Henderson coming back at +200.
In all honesty, we know that Henderson is getting this fight based on his career highlights rather than his recent performances. Hendo is just 3-6 in his past nine fights, with his past four losses coming via stoppage.
Let’s just appreciate this bout for what it is – a bit of a sideshow featuring some of the all-time greats in what will almost certainly be Henderson’s last career fight.
- Michael Bisping -235
- Dan Henderson +185
