UFC Betting: Marquardt vs. Story

*Editor Note: Rick Story will now fight Charlie Brenneman after Nate Marquardt failed a medical test - see the new lines. A busy weekend for MMA fans and bettors continues Sunday night when the UFC invades the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for UFC Live: Marquardt vs. Story.

The main event Sunday night will be a Welterweight bout between Nate Marquardt and Rick Story. The fight will be Marquardt's debut at Welterweight after previously fighting at Middleweight. Marquardt is 31-10 in his MMA career with eight wins by knockout and 15 wins by submission. He's only 2-2 in his last four outings, but in his last fight he did record a win by unanimous decision over Dan Miller at UFC 128 in March.

Story heads into the bout riding a six-fight winning streak and he recorded an impressive win over Thiago Alves by unanimous decision at UFC 130. Story is a lifetime 13-3 with three wins by KO. Story is a -130 favorite at Sportsbook in the bout, while Marquardt is a +110 underdog.

There are two heavyweight bouts on the UFC Live fight card, starting with Pat Barry vs. Cheick Kongo.

Kongo's last fight at UFC 120 in October against Travis Browne ended in a draw. Kongo has only one win in his last four fights, which includes losses to top heavyweights Frank Mir and Cain Velasquez. His MMA record stands at 15-6-2 with nine wins by KO heading into his fight with Barry.

Barry is less experienced than Kongo with a 6-2 record with five wins by KO. In his last fight at UFC: Fight For the Troop 2 in January he defeated Joey Beltran by unanimous decision. He may have only two losses in his MMA career, but both losses have come in his last four fights. On the latest UFC odds at Sportsbook Barry is a +170 underdog in the fight and Kongo is a -200 favorite.

The other Heavyweight fight on the UFC card is a matchup between Christian Morecraft and Matt Mitrione. The favorite in the bout at Sportsbook is Mitrione at -265, and Morecraft is a +225 underdog.

Mitrione is undefeated in his young MMA career at 4-0 with three wins by KO. In his last fight against Tim Hague at Fight For the Troops 2 he won by TKO in the Sportsbook round.

Morecraft is 7-1 with three wins by KO and four wins by submission. He rebounded from his first career defeat against Stefan Struve in his last bout, defeating Sean McCorkle by submission at UFC Fight Night in March.
