UFC: Conor McGregor vs Eddie Alvarez Betting Odds

As much as Dana White wants to say Conor McGregor is cutting down to 145 and defending his featherweight title next, ‘The Notorious One’ does whatever he wants. And what he wants is to fight Eddie Alvarez for the lightweight title. So, at UFC 205 – the UFC's first event at Madison Square Garden – McGregor will look to become the first-ever fighter to hold two belts simultaneously when he challenges Alvarez on November 12.

Bovada opened the odds with McGregor as a -185 favorite with the comeback on Alvarez coming in at +150 for a potential fight between the two after the Irishman's win over Nate Diaz at UFC 202.

Alvarez has criticized McGregor in the media, saying “he’s just not a championship fighter. Not a five, five-minute round fighter. Never has been, never will be. Some guys can have the chops for it and some guys don’t.”

McGregor has fought at lightweight throughout his career, as he held the 155 lbs title in CWFC before making his UFC debut.
