UFC Fight Night: Edgar vs. Swanson Odds

A UFC Featherweight title shot will be awarded to the Sportsbook of the UFC Fight Night 57 main event this weekend, and MMA odds are available at Sportsbook for the bout. Also on the UFC Fight Night 57 card will be a closely-handicapped Lightweight matchup and a relevant Flyweight fight.

UFC odds on the main event between Cub Swanson and Frankie Edgar at Sportsbook are currently at +200 on Swanson to win, while action on Edgar is coming with a -240 price. As well, 29 UFC Fight Night 57 prop bets offer a few opportunities to potentially increase your MMA betting value.

Fight goes to a decision at UFC odds of -210, or, better yet, Edgar wins by decision at -120 are coming at a cheaper price on the most likely outcome. Edgar will have the better striking technique and he should be able to stay on his feet for most of the fight.

Bobby Green has gone undefeated in over three years, going 8-0 over that span. He gets a chance to make another statement in the stacked Lightweight division with a win over Edson Barboza. Handicappers at Sportsbook have the fight close with current UFC odds leaning slightly toward Barboza as the -115 favorite while underdog Green is at -105.

Even in a three-rounder this fight should be fireworks until it’s over, with two guys looking to take out the other with heavy aggression. Therefore, the -135 on fight doesn’t go to a decision looks like it’s the prop bet with the most value right now.

Brad Pickett will look to rebound from a decision loss in his last Octagon appearance as the -210 favorite over Chico Camus (+175). Pickett may be past his prime, but his opponent is 1-2-1 in his last four fights against weaker competition. Pickett should take the fight, and the moneyline to win on him looks safer than trying to determine how he will do it.
