UFC Fight Night: McGregor vs. Siver Odds

UFC rising star Conor McGregor returns to the Octagon on January 18 for a meeting with German striker Dennis Siver with the potential chance to earn a shot at the UFC Featherweight title.

The UFC Fight Night 59 betting card in Boston will also feature a Lightweight matchup between former champion Benson Henderson and fan favorite Donald Cerrone, as well as a Middleweight battle between Uriah Hall and Louis Taylor. *Editor Note: Taylor was injured and will not fight, UFC has since replaced him with Ron Stallings.

McGregor seems to be on an unstoppable streak of 12 straight wins. Since entering the UFC he has been dominant against everyone he’s faced, and oddsmakers at 5Dimes are expecting him to be just as dominant against Siver. Currently an MMA odds -1200 favorite, there are better prices in the 29 prop bet options available at Bovada.

McGregor wins inside the distance at -750 offers some better value. But the brash Irishman has said that he will KO Siver in the second round, and at +425 we’re willing to take the longshot chance that he does.

The co-main event of the UFC Fight Night 59 betting card will feature a Lightweight fight that fans have seen twice before. Henderson has beaten Cerrone twice in the past, but oddsmakers at BetOnline currently have the fight handicapped closely.

Henderson is the current -145 favorite while action on Cerrone will currently pay +125. We’re looking to cash in on this three-rounder going the distance, currently coming at a UFC odds -180 price. Or one could opt for the OVER 2.5 rounds at -205.

Uriah Hall is still trying to reach the potential everyone has expected of him. At UFC Fight Night 59 he will welcome Louis Taylor to the Octagon in what should be an entertaining affair. Current odds are leaning heavily towards Hall as the -550 betting favorite, while upset action on Taylor will pay +425.

We also like Hall, and we think it will end in a KO finish. Hall wins inside the distance at -179 looks to be offering better value on the most likely outcome.
