I've got some key UFC Saudi Arabia parlays ahead of this massive UFC Fight Night event headlined by Israel Adesanya and Nassourdine Imavov.
I'm picking the underdog Imavov in the main event, so we'll use him sparingly in our parlays. Still, I'll do my best to boost our UFC Saudi bets for as much value as possible.
Here are my three Saudi Arabia parlays for Feb. 1.
UFC Saudi Arabia: Underdog Winners (+523)
- Michael Venom Page (+162)
- Nassourdine Imavov (+137)
This will be the lone bold underdog pick, as it's tough to nail one 'dog pick, nevermind two on the same ticket. That said, these two fellas have a chance to cash as sneaky value plays.
In the main event, I'm taking Imavov ML. He’s younger, more motivated, and well-rounded enough to challenge Adesanya’s shaky takedown defense. With a five-inch reach disadvantage, Imavov may mix striking with grappling, hoping to capitalize on Adesanya’s sluggishness seen against Dricus Du Plessis last year.
I'm all in on MVP in the co-main event. his 79-inch reach, slick stance-switching, and elusiveness (1.45 sig. strikes absorbed per minute) should frustrate Magomedov’s aggressive style. While Shara Bullet lands 6.82 sig. strikes per minute, he also eats 4.49, and if the fight slows, MVP’s precision and defensive mastery could turn it into a fencing match that I see Page winning on the scorecards.
UFC Saudi Arabia: Prelim Plays (+243)
- Hamdy Abdelwahab (-110)
- Jasmine Jasudavicius (-250)
- Shamil Gaziev (-350)
While I'm not super keen on the odds in the Hamdy and Jasmine fights, I still like three prelim combatants to cash out for +243 odds. Hamdy hasn't fought since 2022 due to P.E.D. suspensions, but he looked great in that win over Don'Tale Mayes. He now fights Jamal Pogues, a lazy puncher without any means to win a fierce fight.
Jasudavicius has been on a good little streak of late, stopping two of her last three opponents. Her opponent, Mayra Bueno Silva, likes to surrender bottom control in grappling exchanges, which will leave Jasudavicius to take mount and blast away. She's long and strong, rarely yielding dominant grappling positions.
And lastly, Shamil Gaziev is a much more skilled fighter than Thomas Peterson, whose lone UFC win came against Mo Usman.
UFC Saudi Arabia Parlay: Rounds, Rounds, Rounds (-122)
- Jasudavicius/Bueno Silva OVER 1.5 (-700)
- MVP/Shara Bullet OVER 1.5 (-370)
- Adesanya/Imavov OVER 2.5 (-390)
People can hate on me for betting OVERs, but if you smash this chalk together, -122 odds are fair value. The women's prelim fight is destined for at least Round 3, while MVP/Shara could easily end up being a fencing match. Adesanya would be wise to take his time against Imavov, who has a history of slowing in Round 5.
