UFL week 8 Picks & Best bets

It's upset week with the winning teams facing the losing ones. Below I break down my picks for Week 8 of the 2024 UFL season.

Michigan vs Memphis: Panthers -9.5 (-110)

Perhaps the only spread I'm fully comfortable with this week. The Showboats scoring defense sits at the bottom of the league, allowing 28.3 PPG and the third most 96.7 rushing yards per game.

The Panthers, fresh off a 22-9 victory from last week, capitalize on their ground attack that averages 119.6 YPG.

Point is, the Showboats sit at in the bottom four for offense defense while the Panthers linger at the top. With Memphis being 2-5 ATS this season, I'll lay the points with Michigan.

San Antonio vs arlington: UNDER 46 (-110)

My Arlington bashing last week where I said, quote "It's like watching paint dry, I can't take it anymore. Arlington has been a painful, slow burn that still hasn't hit the win column.." must've hit the Renegades radar.

The group finally snagged its first win in much-needed 47-23 blowout over Memphis. Too bad all that momentum is about to be deflated. Arlington can't catch a break, having to meet San Antonio this week. The Brahmas have allowed just 111 points this season, having a top three defense reputation.

The Renegades have a a relentless offense that's been fighting all season, converting 51.2% of third down attempts. But, when they faced a defense better than San Antonio, Arlington recorded just 14-points.
