UFL week 10 Picks & Best bets

Home-field advantage is all over the board this week, three of the four UFL matchups for Week 10 have the home team as the betting favorite. Below I break down my picks for Week 10 of the 2024 UFL season.

Michigan vs birmingham: OVER 43.5 (-110)

The Stallions are coming off their first loss of the season, being upset by the Brahmas, 18-9. The Panthers are coming off a mere 26-22 victory over the lowly Roughnecks. I expect both teams, having already punched their playoff tickets with the conference championship guaranteed to be hosted in Birmingham, didn't play with too much effort in Week 9.

But this week, oh boy! Now is the chance to intimidate their semi-final opponent and get one step ahead for next week.

Birmingham (361.1 YPG) and Michigan (298 YPG) both have prolific offenses. Although their defenses sit second and third for the fewest points allowed this season, these two clubs will be eager to outshine the other. This will be a bloodbath on the scoreboard.

san antonio vs st. louis: Brahmas +2.5 (+100)

If you think the Birmingham vs Michigan matchup is going to be a battle, this San Antonio vs St. Louis game will be even more intense. This meeting has some stakes attached to it because whoever wins gets the coveted home-field advantage for the XFL conference championship.

But if you've been following along the last two weeks, the Battlehawks' go-to QB AJ McCarron has been out with an ankle injury. Back-up Manny Wilkins hasn't been a sturdy replacement, barely snagging a 26-21 win over DC in his first start and then falling the the terrible Renegades, 36-22. With the Brahmas leading the league with 29 sacks, Wilkins is in trouble.

If McCarron, who once led the league with 14 passing touchdowns, does play -- he definitely won't be at his best.
