mystics vs sun preview & pick
The Game: washington mystics vs connecticut sun, 7:30 PM ET

TeamSpreadTotalMoneyline
Washington Mystics+9.0 (-112)O 158 (-110)+380
Connecticut Sun-9.0 (-108)U 158 (-110)-500

My Take: The Mystics had a surprisingly close season-opener, falling 85-80 to last year's runner-ups the New York Liberty. But, I think that had less to do with Washington's strengths and more to do with New York's weaknesses.

Meanwhile, Connecticut swept Indiana under the rug in its first game, dominating 92-71 -- showcasing its offensive and defensive capabilities.

The Sun are 9-1 SU in their last 10 meetings with the Mystics and are 3-0-1 ATS in their last four.

Pick: Sun -9.0 (-108)

storm vs lynx preview & pick
The Game: Seattle storm vs Minnesota Lynx, 9:30 PM ET

TeamSpreadTotalMoneyline
Seattle Storm-1.0 (-112)O 165 (-108)-118
Minnesota Lynx+1.0 (-108)U 165 (-112)-102

My Take: Losing their top three-point shooter Ivana Dojkic, who shot over 41% from beyond the arc last year, showed in Seattle's season opener against Minnesota. The Storm went 1-for-9 in three-point attempts... Yes, you read that right. There's no way you're winning a basketball game with that lousy effort.

In their last five outings, the Lynx are 4-1 SU and 4-1 ATS against the Storm. I would assume Seattle will shoot from the perimeter a bit more tonight but I'm still using Minnesota's success from last meeting to roll with the underdog.

Pick: Lynx +1.0 (-108)
