It's the inaugural season of the Unrivaled League, the new professional women's basketball league created by Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart—a pair of the WNBA's greatest talents. The league lets women's hoops thrive during the offseason, running from January to March. Six teams, 36 of today's women's basketball legends, 3-on-3 format, nine weeks—this is Unrivaled.
Each undefeated through the opening month of the year, the Lunar Owls (+150) hold a slight betting edge over Laces (+200) in the Unrivaled Championship odds.

Here's the analysis for the top of the oddsboard, including a value pick!
The Unrivaled Championship Favorite: Lunar Owls (+150)
One glance at the Lunar Owls six-woman roster and you know it's pure talent. featuring faces like Skylar Diggins-Smith, a five-time WNBA All-Star, Napheesa Collier, a two-time Olympic gold medalist and four-time WNBA All-Star, and Cameron Brink, a 2021 Women's March Madness Champion.
After one month of play, the Lunar Owls are the best offense in the league, with a +11.75 win margin, including a recent 24-point victory against the Phantom at the end of January. Building off a career season in the WNBA last year, which was sadly interrupted by an injury, Collier leads Unrivaled by averaging 28.5 points and 13 rebounds per game.
But, on the final day of January, the Lunar Owls biggest test awaits—a head-to-head matchup with the Laces.
The contender: laces (+950)
Despite falling short of averaging the second-best points average (75.8) in the league, the Laces have two ladies trying to compete with Collier's stellar performance. Behind the Lunar Owls league point leader sits two Laces—Kayla McBride (25.5 PPG) and Tiffany Hayes (20 PPG) to round out the top three.
It's worth noting that in their first two meetings, these ladies outscored opponents by at least 20-points, including a 38-point dub against the Phantom. But again, if the Laces claim victory over the Lunar Owls and can get back on their blowout grind, this championship could be theirs for the taking.
The Dark Horse: Mist (+1400)
The longest long shot I could've picked, sitting last on the oddsboard and last in the league with a big, fat zero in their win column. But hey, only four games have been played and there's still time to turn things around for the Mist.
Truthfully, I look at this roster and it's a perfect cocktail of veteran leadership, grit, and offensive talent. You've got decorated, two-time WNBA MVP, Breanna Stewart paired with play-making machine Courtney Vandersloot. Then, six-time WNBA All-Star Jewell Lloyd alongside the competitive, tough DiJonai Carrington. To top it all off, two promising young athletes, Aaliyah Edwards and Rickea Jackson, fresh off noble rookie campaigns.
Something isn't totally adding up for me because this bench is more than capable of pure, balanced domination. Aside from the brutal 63-43 defeat to the Laces, all of the Mist's losses have been by five-points or fewer—including a mere four-point loss to the Lunar Owls.
