Same-Game Parlay Tonight: Lightning vs Panthers Game 5

For our NHL same-game parlay tonight, we focus on Game 5 between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Florida Panthers in Sunrise. A win for the Panthers puts them into the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs.

A win is exactly what I'm predicting for the Cats tonight.

Same-Game Parlay Leg 1: Panthers ML

In our expert picks tonight, both Josie and I took the Panthers on the moneyline. We both quote the Panthers' recent strength at home, not losing in Sunrise since before March 30th. Not to mention the Panthers' success on the special teams. They've converted on a third of their power play attempts this series.

Josie's also right in pointing out that Vasilevskiy has been dreadful this year and in this series. Vasi holds a 0.900SV% in the regular season and a 0.899SV% in this series. And his career numbers against the Panthers aren't much better with a 0.911SV% and 3.09GAA.

Florida wins with that excellent home form and Tampa's horrendous goalkeeping.

Same-Game Paray Leg 2: OVER 1.5 Goals In P1

In Tampa's last 15 games, the first-period OVER has hit 11 times (73%). And three times in four games during this series.

Tampa has been the fourth-most productive side in the regular season with 87 goals. They're going to try and pour it on right from puck-drop their skill won't be denied. But with all of that offense, they're going to be susceptible at the back. And well with Vasi being awful you can expert Florida to get on the board too.

Same-Game Parlay Leg 3: Reinhart O1.5 SOG

The 57-goal scorer averaged 2.8 shots on goal during the season. Over his career against Tampa, Reinhart has also averaged 2.8 shots on net. In this series, he's averaging 4.5 shots on net.

Look, that's enough for me to bet on this player prop.
