The Overwatch League Summer Showdown East will be taking place from September 9-11. Only four teams will be part of the Overwatch League Summer Showdown East: the Shanghai Dragons (-227), Seoul Dynasty (+225), Philadelphia Fusion (+1600) and Guangzhou Charge (+2000).
There’s a lot of money on the line, with the team finishing in first place set to earn $50,000. The team in second will earn $35,000 and team finishing third gets $20,000.
The teams have been seeded according to the points they have accumulated from qualifier matches. The format is a typical double-elimination bracket with matches in first-to-three maps wins format barring the final, which is first four.
