Why are the Birmingham Stallions favored to win uFL Championship?

It's no surprise the Stallions are favored to continue their modern-era dynasty, focused to grab their third-straight championship. Over the last two seasons, Birmingham has dropped just three games.

In the first five weeks, the Stallions continued their winning streak -- posting a whopping 132 points. Now, after another win in Week 6, Birmingham has become the first to earn a playoff berth.

Birmingham's ground attack has been unstoppable, averaging a league-high 145.5 YPG. The success is led by QB Adrian Martinez, 327 RYDS (ranked second), and Ricky Person Jr, 6 RTDS (ranked first).

The Stallions defense is also worth bragging about, allowing just 81 points this season and coughing up no more than 21 in a single meeting.

The st. louis battlehawks have officially regrouped (+150)

Dropping their season opener wasn't on anyone's Bingo card. But the Battlehawks bounced back just like I thought they would, scoring a league and season-high 45-points in Week 5.

Just like Birmingham, the Battlehawks also have a star signal-caller returning with AJ McCarron, fresh off his MVP trophy win in the XFL last season. The 33-year-old was untouchable, completing an elite 68.6% of his passes for 2,150 yards and topping it all off with 24 touchdowns.

The former Alabama product spent his offseason as a backup with the Cincinnati Bengals but has since asked to be released to rejoin his Battlehawks. Clearly, he's looking for another chance to finish the magic he started.

McCarron sits at the top of the leaderboard with 13 passing touchdowns.

St. Louis capped off last year with a 7-3 record, but a tiebreaker point rule kept them just outside the four-seed playoff format. Once they find their groove, I think the Battlehawks will continue as contenders.
