Vegas Golden Knights vs Dallas Stars Series Preview

Michel's Take: Shy of losing the first two home games of this series, Dallas went 7-1SU in their last eight games at the American Airlines Center. Not to mention going 26-17SU (61%) at home over the full season.

This is a good home team. In their first two home games in this series, Dallas held 52% of the expected goals in all situations. What let them down is goaltending. But Oettinger has bounced back in a big way with back-to-back 0.941SV% games.

To me, he's back and that means Dallas takes this series to 3-2 in their favor.

Check out Michel's +750 same-game parlay for this tilt.

Josie's Take: Home ice advantage simply doesn't exist in this series, with the road team winning each game so far. Funnily enough, the trend upholds between these two even further, with the away team winning eight of the last nine outings.

We've seen two meetings hit the UNDER this series. Vegas' offense has been blandly consistent, having not notched more than three goals since Game 2. Dallas' defense has looked tighter and with the series getting down to the wire, Vegas will need to protect their zone better. If you can't keep up with 'em, you gotta try to stop 'em.

Michel's Pick: Dallas ML (-162)
Josie's Pick: UNDER 5.5 (+105)

LA Kings vs Edmonton Oilers Series Preview

Michel's Take: Just like Jake Oettinger, Stuart Skinner is all the way back with a 0.984SV% and 0.50GAA. And look, Skins is great against LA with a career 1.89GAA and 0.943SV% and a 5-2SU record.

Don't forget that Skinner is way better at home than on the road. He's stopping a higher percentage of pucks (0.913 at home vs 0.894 on the road) and allowing fewer goals (2.49GAA at home vs 2.80 on the road).

Compare that to the goaltending in LA with Talbot allowing 16 goals through three games and "Big Save" Dave allowing one of the 13 shots he faced through.

Edmonton wins tonight and kicks LA out of the playoffs for a third time.

See Josie's +530 same-game parlay for this matchup here!

Josie's Take: A 1-0 loss after Rittich couldn't even handle a lousy 13 shots -- talk about a dagger to the heart. But on the other hand, Edmonton... You could only scrap up 13 shots!?

Clearly, the Kings know shutting down the offense is key to staying alive in this series. I expect they'll stick to the game plan.

Michel's Pick: Oilers ML (-192)
Josie's Pick: UNDER 6.5 (-125)
