What usually happens the week after the sportsbooks get pounded? The point spreads usually come in a little higher than usual, as oddsmakers know that those bettors who cleaned up last week will be back looking for more.
And the result is three games with double-digit favorites (San Francisco, New England and Pittsburgh). There are also three games where the spread opened as a PK or -1.

What does it all mean for the NFL scores prediction computer here at Odds Shark? It means, after consecutive winning weeks, the computer is looking to turn another profit in Week 10. It was 8-6 ATS last week, while picking 10 of 14 winners straight up.
It also means bad news for the sportsbooks and good news for NFL bettors who love favorites. All three of those huge favorites are predicted to win easily, which would be a nightmare situation for sportsbooks, as they would likely suffer with many losses in parlays and teasers as well.
The machine picks the Colts to continue their winning ways with a 17-9 win at Jacksonville and it picks the Bears to beat Houston in a barnburner, 37-35, in the other game that opened as PK.
The Eagles will lose again, the Giants will rebound and Atlanta will remain perfect with a road win in New Orleans.
And the Monday Nighter will be a one-sided Steelers win, 26-9, over the Chiefs.
