Women's Gold Olympic Hockey Odds

The United States lost to Canada in the preliminary round of the women's Olympic hockey tournament in Sochi last week, but they're still pegged as the favorites on the Olympic hockey odds at the sportsbooks to win the gold medal in the rematch on Thursday.

The United States fell 3-2 to Canada in their preliminary round matchup, but easily handled Sweden 6-1 in the semifinals to advance to Thursday's final. Canada topped Switzerland 3-1 on the Olympic hockey betting lines in the semifinals to get a chance to defend their gold medal against the United States.

And the Sportsbook odds have the United States women listed as the -140 favorites for Thursday over Canada (+115), with the sportsbook also offering a rink-full of prop bets for the contest - including a matchup of the United States' Amanda Kessel vs. Canada's Hayley Wickenheiser for most points in the game.

Kessel is also the 13/2 favorite at Sportsbook to score the first goal in the game on Thursday over teammate Hilary Knight (7/1), with the Americans the -125 favorites to get on the board first.
