Underdog's boosts change frequently but I regularly see profit boosts of 40%, 50%, 70%, and even 100% on the Underdog app. The current welcome offer, which you can read more about below, is extremely generous as well.

With the Underdog app and platform, you can play DFS unlike any other. Instead of selecting a lineup and trying to stay under a salary cap while trying to maximize your dollar by stacking players such as Patrick Mahomes with Xavier Worthy, Underdog has you choose your lineup via drafts against other Underdog players. This allows for a greater chance at winning in comparison to the other DFS platforms, in which pros constantly keep you away from the top of the leaderboard.

There are two main DFS Underdog drafts you can choose from: Battle Royale which is a snake draft where your team's total points go against everyone else in the contest and the highest scores are awarded prizes and Best Ball which is also a snake draft but Underdog will automatically select your highest scoring players to be "starters" and only their points are counted.

If DFS pools aren't for you, that's fine. Underdog also has a Pick'em lobby, recently rebranded as "Champions." Within this portion of the Underdog app, users can choose whether player stat outcomes will be higher or lower than the designated number. For example, will Shohei Ohtani have higher or lower than 0.5 home runs or will Lamar Jackson throw for higher or lower 219.5 passing yards? You can make these plays before the game, but also live during the games as well.

You must make at least two picks that will have a standard multiplier with more picks and if you choose three or more, you have the option to flex your play at a lower payout but still earn you some winnings if one of your legs doesn't hit – call it an insurance. Be sure to frequently check the promos section of the Underdog app for these wagers as Underdog provides daily offers such as inflated/reduced lines to almost guarantee your chances at winnings such as Dak Prescott's passing yards drop from 229.5 yards down to 0.5 – best to take the over here I'd say.

If you have a better grasp on how a season will play out, Underdog has you covered there as well within their Champions season-long player props section. That's right, you can be engaged all for the entire NBA campaign as you will find season-long higher or lower selections such as: will Luka Doncic average higher or lower than 32.5 points per game or will Nikola Jokic average higher or lower than 12.3 rebounds per game.

Also within the Champions section is the option for "Rivals." For me, this was the most fun aspect of the Underdog app, pitting two players against each other in a head-to-head based on their fantasy points outcome. Here, Underdog offers a list of head-to-head matchups, such as Giannis Antetokounmpo vs Joel Embiid for which player will have the better night for fantasy points. Here you're competing against other players rather than against Underdog, so you can really make the most of your expertise.

Underdog also offers its "Pick8" and prediction market exchange features to players. Pick8 has you create entries with as many as eight selections with the safety net of an automatic "double-flex" option. That means that you can have up to two misses and still receive a reduced payout. If you're able to land all eight picks you can win up to 325x your initial entry amount.

The prediction market exchange is a unique partnership between Underdog and Crypto.com that brings a prediction market to a major sports gaming operator app for the first time. Prediction markets let you look ahead and make picks for specific events and their outcomes. These could be a Yes/No for "Will Patrick Mahomes win NFL MVP?", or picking the winner for an ongoing NBA game with live updates.

Another enticing feature within the Underdog app includes a handy button that says "Get $25" – say less! This is a referral option that you can pass along to your buddies and for everyone that signs up, you get a cool $25 deposited into your account in which you can wager in a contest with those same buddies to kick their ass.

While you can make deposits/withdrawals fairly easy, you are limited in choices. Underdog accepts major credit cards such as: Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express, as well as PayPal and some online banking powered by Trustly. Currently, you can't deposit or withdraw with cryptocurrency, Apple Pay or Venmo. 

Lastly, Underdog's customer service was quite strong. As soon as you sign up an email is sent to you with information on how to use the platform along with links to their customer support email, their discord channel and X handle to follow along.

The odds offered at Underdog are on par, and sometime better, than what is offered on other sports betting apps. The odds aren't displayed in the same way (i.e. -110) like you see at other sportsbooks. Instead, Underdog uses "3x" instead of +300 and "4.5x" rather than +450. This takes some getting used to.
