Prop Professor is a fantastic option if you're looking for an affordable, high-powered tool to gain an edge in sports betting. It's exploding in popularity and has numerous impressive features, like a sharp +EV Betting product, a DFS Slip Generator, and a helpful push alert tool. 

My favorite feature of Prop Professor is its Arbitrage betting tool, which lets you identify odds discrepancies across two sports betting sites to lock in guaranteed profit. If you're not familiar with arbitrage betting, this may sound too good to be true, but Prop Professor makes it happen. Those who enjoy betting on fantasy sites like PrizePicks or Underdog will appreciate real-time optimizer tools.

The drawback of Prop Professor is that it's strictly a web-based platform. Prop Professor technically has an iOS app available in beta, but it can only be used for push notifications. I enjoyed Prop Professor so much that I wanted more.

What Is Prop Professor?

Prop Professor is a sports betting research platform designed to help bettors make informed and data‑driven decisions by crunching numbers for you and partnering with dozens of sports betting apps. Prop Professor's features include betting suggestions for fantasy betting sites, +EV (Expected Value) bet recommendations, and highlighting arbitrage opportunities.

I appreciate that Prop Professor keeps adding new features for sports bettors. So far, that hasn't increased the price. Prop Professor is a fantastic blend of utility and affordability.

How Much Does Prop Professor Cost?

The amount you pay for a Prop Professor subscription depends on which payment plan you sign up for. For sports bettors in states without access to traditional sportsbooks, the “Fantasy” package is available for $35/mo. (or $15/week) and pairs well with platforms like PrizePicks and Underdog Fantasy. That same price applies to the “Sportsbook” package.

For bettors interested in both packages, an All Access price of $49/mo. (or $20/week) will get you guaranteed access to everything Prop Professor offers, along with early access to beta products. These prices haven't changed at all in the last two years. I asked the folks at Prop Professor if the prices might increase in the future. They said a 10-15% increase in the future is possible. It's also possible that existing users will be grandfathered into the old price point.

Once you sign up for Prop Professor, I encourage you to learn as much as you can about the app and its features to make the most of it. Arbitrage

The first thing you'll want to do upon logging into Prop Professor is to customize it to your needs. In the upper right corner of the web page (to the left of the sign-out button) is a drop-down menu of states where you can select where you'll be betting from. Next, click settings in the bottom-left section of the screen and insert your bankroll size, which will be used to make appropriate betting recommendations. For instance, Prop Professor might suggest a $12 bet for someone with a smaller bankroll and a $120 bet on that same wager for someone with a larger bankroll.

The settings menu also lets you choose what you want to see on Prop Professor. For instance, if you live in a state that doesn't allow NCAA basketball player props, you can hit a button to hide them, eliminating clutter from your screen. 

There are two main tools in the sportsbook version of the platform (+EV and Arbitrage) and four tools for the fantasy version (Optimizer, Alt Optimizer, Comparison, Slip Gen). All of these featured tools are found in the upper left section of the platform, no matter which page you're on. You can read more about each of these tools below in its appropriate section.

I highly recommend turning on push notifications if you want to take full advantage of Prop Professor Sportsbook because some +EV and arbitrage betting opportunities only last a few minutes. You can opt into push notifications by clicking "Notifications" in the "More" section at the bottom of the platform and then downloading the iOS app if you have an Apple phone.

Prop Professor's sportsbook section features two main features: +EV and Arbitrage.

Positive EV Finder

The +EV section was truly impressive with a deeper selection of +EV bets than I've seen with other tools. On my first visit to this section, I saw 107 pages (10 bets per page) of +EV betting opportunities, ranked in order, with the most value at the top. The +EV section features several sports, including MLS soccer, the NFL, and NCAA Football. I like how the bets are displayed intuitively, with the sports betting app's logo and a link button that takes you to your account in the appropriate app so you can quickly bet. 

The +EV section featured a lot of traditional wagers that beginner bettors are familiar with, like point spreads, moneylines, and team totals. For instance, Prop Professor identified an UNDER 56.5 line for the Baylor-Kansas State football game at +180, even though it was +135 and +140 at other sportsbooks. Prop Professor made it clear that anything above +161 was a plus-EV bet and then showed me the sportsbook offering +180.

Arbitrage Betting

I was absolutely impressed with the deep selection of arbitrage betting opportunities from Prop Professor. Some apps claim to offer Arbitrage bets, but the menus rarely have more than a couple of options. Prop Professor regularly offers several pages of Arbitrage betting opportunities that even beginners can digest and take advantage of. Arbitrage opportunities range from alt corner-kick totals in soccer to NFL player props. For instance, I found an Arbitrage opportunity on Jake Ferguson's receiving yards OVER/UNDER 36.5. Thanks to Prop Professor, I was able to see that one of my sportsbooks had the over set at -115, while another had the under set at +125.

Prop Professor Daily Fantasy Optimizer

Prop Professor's "Slip Gen" (short for bet slip generator) feature alone is worth the monthly subscription price. You'll find +EV bet slips for your favorite fantasy sites, whether it's Five Pick Flex from PrizePicks or a 3 Pick Power Bet at Dabble. Prop Professor's X handle is loaded with tags from appreciative customers who found winning bets with the Slip Gen feature.

The Fantasy Comparison tool is essentially an odds board for wagers offered on fantasy sites, with a color-coded icon letting you know when a particular bet has value. This tool is great for spotting line discrepancies. Simply click the fantasy site of your choice at the top of the page, and you'll get a long list of wagers ranked in order by value.

The DFS Optimizer tool displays similarly to the comparison tool, but there's an added drop-down menu where you can input a particular bet time from a specific fantasy site. For instance, you search 5 Pick Flexes from PrizePicks or 3 Pick Insured bets from Underdog.

The Alt Optimizer tool looks very similar to the +EV tool mentioned in the Prop Professor Sportsbook section above, and ranks fantasy wagers for you in terms of how valuable they are. I appreciate the color-coding of the EV percentages, so it's easy to identify wagers worthy of your attention.

My experience with Prop Professor

I enjoyed my time giving Prop Professor a test drive and will certainly keep it as a part of my sports betting arsenal moving forward. I live close to the Arizona/Nevada border, so I was able to take advantage of betting recommendations on both versions of Prop Professor (fantasy and sportsbook). For someone like me, the all-access price makes the most sense, but if you have fewer sports betting options available, then you can save money with one of the other two packages.

One thing that stood out to me immediately was the wide range of sports markets available on Prop Professor. For instance, I've used similar apps that don't support tennis or CFL markets. The full list of sports that Prop Professor can help you get an edge with is as follows: MLB, NBA, NCAAB, NCAAF, NFL, NHL, UFC, WNBA, CFL, Tennis (ATP/WTA), Soccer (MLS, Liga MX, top 5 European, major club/international tournaments), LoL, Valorant, COD, CSGO.

One of the first things I did upon logging in was check out the odds screen (found at the bottom of the web version under "more"). I counted lines for 25 different sportsbooks and exchanges, far more than you'll find in similar resources.

The platform helped me identify several arbitrage betting opportunities, including one for Ben Rice's RBIs in the Red Sox-Yankees AL Wild Card game. One sportsbook had OVER 0.5 set at -190, while another offered +220.

Overall, I was extremely impressed with Prop Professor, especially at such an affordable price point. I appreciate having so many tools in one place, and it allows me to cancel subscriptions to other sports betting tools since Prop Professor has them all in one place at such a fair price. Another nice thing about Prop Professor is that it's constantly evolving (in a good way), and you can tell from the improvements that its operators are hungry to make it even better. 

Improvements To Prop Professor

The biggest improvement to Prop Professor recently has been the significant upgrade in how the platform interacts with sports betting sites. Thanks to an improved update frequency (data updating from sportsbooks to Prop Professor), updated data is reflected on Prop Professor in less than two seconds. This is a big deal because it can be frustrating on other platforms when you find a wager you like, only to learn it’s no longer available to bet.

Another big upgrade (August 2025) from the folks at Prop Professor was the addition of the “Slip Gen,” which provides mathematically optimal, fully customizable bet slips for betting apps like Underdog and PrizePicks.
