What Does This Table Mean?

This table shows the records for the last 100 games played in Ligue 1 Conforama. This data is useful when making Ligue 1 predictions. Before you throw up your hands in bewilderment, read on and we’ll explain everything.

Sportsbook

$ Of Units Sportsbook/Closing

This part could be confusing for first-time bettors so let’s break it down: The dollar sign ($) represents the number of the profit or loss based on a bettor placing $100 on each of the last 100 Ligue 1 matches generated by the computer on the Sportsbook and closing lines. “To Win” designates that the win is based on moneyline bets.

Moneyline, sometimes called straight-up bets, describes picks you make on one team to win. Let’s say AS Saint-Etienne is facing off against EA Guingamp and you pick Saint-Etienne to win. Should Saint-Etienne win, then you’d win too. If they lost, you’d lose your bet.

“ATS” is something you’ll see on our picks page and it means “against the spread.” This indicates the win based on picks that are made in contradiction to the spread. In betting, the spread is the number oddsmakers use to give people more wagering options besides wins and losses.

A spread in Ligue 1 would be something like .5 or 1.5 and implies that one team would need to lose the match by 1 or 2 goals or the other team would have to win by that same amount. If not, your bet won’t cover the spread. When you don’t cover the spread, you won’t win.

Sometimes referred to as “totals” betting, “Total O/U” is the amount won on OVER or UNDER predictions. For Ligue 1, the OVER/UNDER is whatever will affect the outcome of the match like injuries (real), weather conditions (if it’s too hot or windy), and of course, how good or bad each club is offensively and defensively.

Record Sportsbook/Closing

Everything in life should be easy and here at Odds Shark, we think making picks should be a no-brainer. For this reason, we list wins first, losses second, while pushes and ties are listed third. “ATS” signifies the record based on predictions made against the spread (see above). “To Win” shows the record grounded on moneyline bets (see above again). “Total O/U” is the record on OVER or UNDER picks (see above one last time).
