The Hard Rock betting app is well respected in the industry, as evidenced by its 4.9 Apple Store rating and 4.7 Google Play rating.

The "Discover" button at the bottom of the Hard Rock betting app features a search bar, but it's annoying that it doesn't allow you to search for players. If you're looking for Shohei Ohtani props, you have to look up "Dodgers" or "MLB" instead of being able to search his name like on other apps. That pet peeve aside, the Hard Rock Bet app's simple purple-and-white interface is a breath of fresh air in an overstimulated sports gaming industry.

While other apps cram information and options in your face, Hard Rock's app plays it cool, leaving it up to the user to navigate their sports betting journey through a clean and straightforward interface.

The top of the Hard Rock betting app features several buttons that you'll often use. For instance, a "Live Now" button so you can instantly be shown a list of games currently taking place that you can live bet immediately. There's also a helpful "Boosts" tab with generous bet boosts from several different sports (soccer, WNBA, MLB, and more). The "Stats Hub" is a great place to go if you're not sure what you want to bet on and you want ideas. For example, MLB bettors will find a player's hit rate for their last five games next to that specific player prop if they want to ride the momentum from a trend.

The bottom-right corner of the app displays how much money is in your account, and if you click that dollar amount, you'll see a screen with options for deposits, withdrawals, as well as links to your bet history and transaction history.

Hard Rock Bet gets my stamp of approval for live betting, particularly for its unique "My Pinned Events" tab, which lets bettors pin whichever current or upcoming event they'd like to bet on and track the action live. This creative feature isn't available at a lot of major sportsbooks and adds easy access to the sporting events that matter to you.

Hard Rock provides a standard live-betting menu like you may have seen at other sportsbooks, plus a normal live-betting section that loads at the top of the page or app. Hard Rock Bet's in-game betting menu also features relevant statistics to help you make a more informed wager. The "Live Now" button in the upper left corner of the app can quickly get you to a menu of games that are happening at that moment and are available for streaming. I could stream darts, table tennis, WNBA, and soccer (UEFA) action when I last logged in during the day.
