Floyd Mayweather Jr. will put his titles on the line at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Saturday night as the big favorite on the boxing betting lines at the sportsbooks in his rematch with Marcos Maidana. Mayweather and Maidana also fought back on May 3, with Mayweather winning via a majority decision.
Mayweather Jr. (46-0, 26 KOs) is the 1/8 favorite on the boxing odds at Sportsbook for Saturday's fight against Maidana (35-4, 31 KOs), who is the 5/1 underdog on those lines. On the line on Saturday night will be Mayweather's WBC, WBA, and The Ring welterweight titles plus his WBC light middleweight title

The Sportsbook odds for Saturday also have a 1/4 line on the fight going the distance, with a 5/2 line on the fight not going the distance. Props bettors will also find 13/4 odds on there being a point deducted at some point in the match. Mayweather to win by KO, TKO, or Disqualification is set at 7/2, with Maidana winning by any of those three options set at 7/1.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. announced his next challenger Monday night and sportsbooks quickly pounced, making Marcos Maidana a steep underdog. Mayweather will put his 45-0 mark on the line May 3, according to his Twitter account. It’s the third in a six-fight contract he inked with Showtime.
“We don’t have the line posted on it, but we expect to open it at -1000,” said Kevin Bradley of Sportsbook late Monday. That would make Maidana an underdog in the range of +600 to +700.
Maidana, 30, was considered a finalist for the May 3 bout after an impressive unanimous decision upset of Adrien Broner in December. Online sportsbook Sportsbook was also quick to the Floyd Mayweather vs Marcos Maidana odds party. They are giving more respect to the challenger as they opened Floyd at -600 and Maidana at +400.
It was believed that Maidana, along with Amir Khan, were Mayweather’s choices.
