Two of the last three Mid-American Conference tournaments have ended with a matchup between Ohio and Akron in the MAC Championship Game, and that result is favored once again in this year’s tournament at the sportsbooks.

No. 2 Ohio is favored to win the MAC Tournament at -130. Finishing the season with a 14-2 SU conference record and a 23-8 SU record overall, Ohio has won the MAC Tournament twice in the last three years by defeating Akron in the finals each time the two teams have clashed there.

No. 1 Akron (+180) also finished the season with a 14-2 SU conference record, and earned the tie-breaker with two wins over Ohio this year.
