Florida Gators Touchdown Celebration

Gators Begin Life Without Grier vs LSU

Standout Louisiana State University running back Leonard Fournette has stolen the headlines for the Tigers so far in the college football season, and this week it’ll be up to the Florida Gators to stop the Heisman favorite on his home turf. But the big news surrounding this tilt came when the NCAA suspended starting Florida's standout freshman QB Will Grier for the season for allegedly taking performance-enhancing drugs. Sophomore Treon Harris will be handed the reigns to the quarterback position as a result.

The Tigers have had no issues putting points on the scoreboard, ranking 24th in the nation with an average of 468.4 points per game so far. Florida hasn’t been as impressive on the offensive side of the ball (84th in the country) but sports a smash mouth defense that’s only allowing 296.3 total yards per game – good enough to rank 16th overall.
