So, what can we expect?
In his match vs Fury, Ngannou impressed in many other areas beyond his left-hook knockdown of the champ. The ex-UFC champion maintained a good rhythm, his chin looked strong, and he only slowed in the later rounds, flashing a respectable gas tank.
But now we trade Fury's long jab for Joshua's electric power. Ngannou might tread a little more carefully, which would allow Joshua the space to move his feet and go to work.
Ngannou has the nuclear option, but he may never find enough of a rhythm to feel comfortable letting his hands fly. And that's why I see this fight dragging into the later rounds with Joshua setting the pace.
