Phillies vs Blue Jays

MLB Same-Game Parlay April 23: Blue Jays vs Royals (+425)

It's time for another MLB same-same parlay.

For Tuesday's slate, we're highlighting the Blue Jays vs Royals matchup, with first pitch scheduled for 7:40 p.m. ET at Kauffman Stadium.

Here's my MLB same-game parlay for the contest, where I break down the three parlay legs I need to hit:

Blue Jays vs Royals Same-Game Parlay: April 23

The Game: Blue Jays vs Royals - 7:40 p.m. ET

BetOdds
Michael Wacha OVER 3.5 Strikeouts-160
Daulton Varsho OVER 0.5 Total Bases-140
Blue Jays ML-120
Overall+425

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 1: Wacha OVER 3.5 Strikeouts (-160)

This is an easy leg for me. Wacha has drilled the OVER 3.5 strikeouts in all four games this season. The 32-year-old's stuff looks just as sharp as in years past.

Toronto is among the best in baseball with a low strikeout rate, but there are several exploitable hitters in the lineup. Bo Bichette and Isaiah Kiner-Falefa might not K a ton, but Daulton Varsho and Kevin Kiermaier can rack up the whiffs.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 2: Varsho OVER 0.5 Total Bases (-140)

Varsho, while strikeout-prone, has a hit in seven of his last 10 contests. He's also on a homer streak, too.

In his last 12 games, Varsho is 13-for-39 with six home runs, 13 RBIs, and a 1.253 OPS. This is the hottest he's ever been in a Blue Jays uniform. Bet on this streak continuing Tuesday.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 3: Blue Jays ML (-120)

Let's steer clear of the prop section for our last leg. The Blue Jays are a bit undervalued at -120 odds, and that's why we'll scoop up this bet to close out our parlay.

Kevin Gausman's been a little shaky this season but he bounced back in his last outing. As long as he's not totally out of wack, Toronto should have a strong avenue to a close win Tuesday.
