Dodgers Diamondbacks Same Game Parlay

MLB Same-Game Parlay May 1st: DBacks vs Dodgers (+365)

We've got a surprisingly stacked Wednesday slate of games, so it's the perfect time to cook up a winning MLB same-game parlay.

I've had a loss and a rainout to start the week for my SGPs, but I think I've got some pretty good value in tonight's Dodgers vs DBacks game. I'm banking on a bit of an upset, so here are my three MLB same-game parlay legs:

Diamondbacks vs Dodgers Same-Game Parlay: April 29th

The Game: DBacks vs Dodgers- 9:41 p.m. ET

BetOdds
Diamondbacks ML+115
Christian Walker Over 0.5 RBI+135
Jordan Montgomery Over 4.5 Ks+105
Overall+365

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 1: Diamondbacks Moneyline

The Dodgers have been solid this year, but they haven't been the dominant force we all thought they'd be entering the 2024 season. So far this year they're 'only' on pace for 96 wins, and the inconsistency of tonight's starter, Yoshi Yamamoto, is a big reason why.

Yamamoto has had six starts so far this season, pitching three shutouts, and allowing 12 runs in 12 innings across the other three outings. When he's on, he's untouchable. When he's not, yikes. So, he's the perfect guy to bet against as a favourite, because he might just blow up.

I like a lot of what the DBacks have going tonight, too, so this isn't just a Yamamoto fade. The DBacks have been great against the division lately. They're 40-28 against NL West opponents over the last two seasons (good for +14.9 units of profit on the moneyline).

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 2: Christian Walker Over 0.5 RBI

Christian Walker has been on quite the heater. In the last week (20 at-bats) he's hitting .400 with a .900 slugging percentage. The consistent hits and plenty of power have allowed him to rack up six RBI in his last six games. So, if you're giving me plus money on Walker to cash another RBI today, I'll back it.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 3: Jordan Montgomery Over 4.5 Ks

Jordan Montgomery is really the key to my same-game parlay today. I'm banking on him shutting down the Dodgers, because that's all he's done for his career. The DBacks lefty has held current LA batters to just a .200 career batting average and .568 OPS. He's allowed just four extra-base hits to current Dodgers hitters in 85 career at-bats.

As well he's been generally great to start this year, allowing just four earned runs in his first 13 innings pitched (2.77 ERA).
