LaMelo Ball

NBA Daily Fantasy Picks For Jan. 24: LaMelo To Terrorize Pistons

NBA daily fantasy perfectly blends the worlds of fantasy sports and sports betting into one fun and exhilarating contest that can lead to big gains for those who partake.

The DFS lineup will incorporate a standard starting lineup of a PG, SG, SF, PF, and C, along with an additional G, F, and UTIL slot at a salary of $50,000 which cannot be exceeded. Points are allocated based on the statistical production from each individual player that night.

Here's a look at our lineup for the NBA's slate of games on Wednesday, January 24, 2024:

NBA DFS Lineup For January 24, 2024

  1. PG: LaMelo Ball, Charlotte Hornets

    $9,600

  2. SG: Malik Beasley, Milwaukee Bucks

    $4,800

  3. SF: Grayson Allen, Phoenix Suns

    $5,900

  4. PF: Saddiq Bey, Atlanta Hawks

    $5,100

  5. C: Isaiah Stewart, detroit Pistons

    $5,500

  6. G: Scoot Henderson, Portland Trail Blazers

    $5,700

  7. F: Dillon Brooks, Houston Rockets

    $5,200

  8. UTIL: Jaren Jackson Jr, Memphis Grizzlies

    $8,200

PG: LaMelo Ball, Charlotte Hornets

Ball is averaging 49.6 fantasy points across his last four games, and with Terry Rozier no longer in the picture after being dealt to the Miami Heat, those numbers may actually see an uptick. It's going to be a high-scoring affair on Wednesday, as well, with the Charlotte Hornets and Detroit Pistons possessing the league's two worst defenses.

SG: Malik Beasley, Milwaukee Bucks

Beasley sees a healthy dose of playing time in the Milwaukee Bucks' starting lineup and can be counted on for a steady amount of 3-pointers as the fifth option of that group. He only scored two points in Milwaukee's last meeting with the Cleveland Cavaliers, but that was a blowout affair which never got competitive.

SF: Grayson Allen, Phoenix Suns

Grayson Allen continues to benefit from the attention generated by his Big Three teammates. An average of 32.3 fantasy points over his last five outings is tremendous value at his price, and the Phoenix Suns will be out for blood against a Dallas Mavericks squad that beat them by double digits on Christmas Day.

PF: Saddiq Bey, Atlanta Hawks

Saddiq Bey is as hot and cold as it gets, following up a miserable zero-point night on 0-of-12 shooting against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday with a semi-respectable 13-point, seven-rebound showing two nights later against the Sacramento Kings. He plays enough on the struggling Atlanta Hawks to warrant consideration here.

C: Isaiah Stewart, Detroit Pistons

Isaiah Stewart can be a five-category player when motivated, demonstrated by his most recent showing against the Bucks when he finished with 19 points, eight rebounds, two assists, two steals, and five rejections off the bench for the Detroit Pistons. Charlotte lacks an interior presence down low and just gave up 62 points to Karl-Anthony Towns. Stewart won't replicate that, of course, but he should face little resistance in this matchup.

G: Scoot Henderson, Portland Trail Blazers

Here's hoping Scoot Henderson can build off of his strong fantasy performance against the Oklahoma City Thunder when he registered 37 fantasy points off of 19 points, seven assists, and four rebounds in 26 minutes off the bench for the Portland Trial Blazers. It was just the fourth time in the month of January that Henderson has exceeded 30 fantasy points in a game.

F: Dillon Brooks, Houston Rockets

Dillon Brooks has registered over 40 fantasy points in a game just twice all season, but his most recent line against the Boston Celtics on Sunday accomplished just that. His 25 points were one off of being a season high, while his four steals were his most since Nov. 19.

UTIL: Jaren Jackson Jr, Memphis Grizzlies

The Memphis Grizzlies are Jaren Jackson Jr's team to mold at this point with the endless amount of injuries surrounding him. He's scored at least 20 points in seven of his last eight games, and just set a career high with six steals against the Toronto Raptors on Monday.
