Lakers vs. Warriors

NBA Same-Game Parlay For Feb. 22: Lakers vs. Warriors

With both teams currently slotted into the final two spots in the Western Conference's play-in tournament, the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors will look to kick off the final stretch of the regular season on a high note when they square off at the Chase Center on Thursday night.

Let's put together a same-game parlay and win some money.

Last Same-Game Parlay Results: Bucks Vs. Grizzlies (Feb. 15, 2024)

BetOddsResultW or L
Memphis Grizzlies ATS +11.5-108113-110 GrizzliesW
Giannis Antetokounmpo To Score UNDER 29.5 Points-11535 PointsL
Luke Kennard To Hit OVER 2.5 3-pointers-164DNPL
Overall+356 L

The Memphis Grizzlies held out Luke Kennard right before the All-Star break due to soreness in his knee, which wasn't announced until hours before tipoff. That killed the potential of this same-game parlay outright, as did a tight score which forced Giannis Antetokounmpo to play more minutes.

Los Angeles Lakers Vs. Golden State Warriors Same-Game Parlay

The Game: Los Angeles Lakers vs. Golden State Warriors, 10 p.m. ET

BetOdds
Golden State Warriors ML-220
Klay Thompson OVER 15.5 Points-115
Anthony Davis OVER 28.5 Points-115

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 1: Golden State Warriors ML

LeBron James will miss his second-consecutive game for Los Angeles as he deals with an ankle injury which didn't prevent him from keeping in the All-Star Game, mind you.

Even if James did suit up, taking the Warriors moneyline would be the route to go for one of the hotter teams in the Association with an 8-2 record SU over their last 10 outings.

The Lakers are the only team with a top-10 seed in the West to have a losing record on the road. One of their 11 wins away from Crypto.com Arena did come against Golden State, to be fair, but it was by a single point and required two overtimes to get the job done. Consider that an anomaly.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 2: Klay Thompson OVER 15.5 Points

It was only one game, but Klay Thompson's debut for the second unit in a recent loss to the Utah Jazz provided optimism that his new role may better suit him and the Warriors as a whole.

Thompson contributed a season-high 35 points with seven 3-pointers in a healthy 28 minutes of action, perhaps having a chip on his shoulder following what could easily have been perceived as a demotion.

It's unrealistic to imagine another outburst of that magnitude right away, but reaching the OVER at 15.5 points is absolutely in play for a number that's less than half of what he just recently dropped off the bench.

Same-Game Parlay Pick No. 3: Anthony Davis OVER 28.5 Points

In six games this season without James by his side, Anthony Davis has averaged a staggering 29.3 points and 12.2 rebounds while shooting nearly 50 percent from the field in 38.4 minutes.

Needless to say, the Lakers have to rely heavily on Davis to compensate for the King's absence. He's cleared the 28.5-point mark in 17 of 52 total appearances, and just scored 37 points against the Jazz on Valentine's Day.

A win may not be in the cards for Los Angeles, but that won't stop Davis from producing monster numbers against a Warriors squad lacking in size and that struggles defending the mid-range game.
