Check out three NCAAB Race to 10 bets you need to make as we gear up for college hoops on Thursday, March 7, 2024:

Wright State vs Northern Kentucky

Matchup: Wright State vs Northern Kentucky

TeamOddsRecord
Wright State-16018-13
Northern Kentucky+10517-14

Pick: Wright State -160

Wright State plays at pace and hit a far better percentage of their shots than Northern Kentucky. That's likely why our computer picks love Wright State in this one.

Northern Kentucky rank 229th in overall field goal percentage and convert on just 31.5% of their three-pointers. The Norse have scored just 33 first-half points per game on the year, while the Raiders have averaged 42 points in the first stanza. That stat alone is reason enough to bet on Wright State to win this race to 10 with ease.

Washington State vs Washington

Matchup: Washington State vs Washington

TeamOddsRecord
Washington+11020-8
Washington State-15514-13

Pick: Washington State -155

Sure, the Huskies play at pace.

But, Washington State holds a significant advantage on the glass. Crucially, the Cougars are one of the best offensive rebounding teams in the country. Wazzou sit 17th in the country with a 7.38 second chance conversion percentage. They also hold an edge in free-throw attempt rate, and should have no problem getting to the line early and often.

Washington surrender nearly 37 first-half points per game, and have allowed opponents to shoot over 50% from the field. On the flip side, Washingston State have held opponents to an effective field goal percentage of just 46.8% on the year.

Plus, the Huskies have struggled to settle in on road trips lately, getting walloped 52-35 in the first stanza versus Arizona. While the Cougars aren't nearly as talented as the Wildcats offensively, they pulled off a miraculous victory in Seattle earlier this season, and I like them to cruise to a race to 10 victory on Thursday night.

Colorado vs Oregon

Matchup: Colorado vs Oregon

TeamOddsRecord
Colorado-10520-9
Oregon-13519-10

Pick: Colorado -105

Colorado play at a quicker pace than Oregon, and are remarkably better at shooting the basketball.

The Buffaloes are second in the nation field goal percentage, and are an elite team from deep hitting on 40.55% of their three-pointers.

Meanwhile, the Ducks give up 35 first-half points per game, allowing opponents to shoot over 51% from the field and nearly 35% from three. They're ranked at 220th in the nation or lower in each of those statistics. Oregon were decimated early by Arizona on Saturday, and I'm predicating much of the same to occur in Eugene on Thursday night.

Look for KJ Simpson and Buffaloes to blitz the Ducks early and win the race to 10. Cash with Colorado.
