NFL Week 15 Prop Bets: Show me Your Best Eli Face

It’s almost Christmastime and if you’ve been as naughty as this writer, you’re probably not expecting Santa to fill your stocking. Luckily for us degenerates, sportsbooks have looked past our sins and showered us in gifts in the form of proposition bets for Week 15 in the NFL!

Here are some of the props available at online shop Sportsbook right now:

The Book of Eli

The dumbest-looking of the Manning brothers may not be having a great season statistically but he sure is throwing plenty of interceptions! See what I did there? I misled you. I’m just trying to season you for the heartbreak that’s sure to ensue if you take either side of this OVER/UNDER prop for how many yards Eli will throw for against the Lions this week.

No. 10 hasn’t thrown over the total proposed since November 6 when the Giants beat the Eagles 28-23. I mention this because Philly has one of the best pass defenses in the entire league. Eli is the ultimate contrarian and always does the opposite of what you, and his opponents, expect him to. *Cough Patriots cough David Tyree cough*.

Fair warning, if you take the OVER, Eli will throw a 90-yard bomb to Odell Beckham Jr. on the first play of the game and then proceed to dink and dunk his way to 221 total passing yards the rest of the game. If you take the UNDER, he’ll get shut down until the fourth and then he'll explode – drowning your UNDER.

Jesus, am I really that jaded? Anyway, here’s the prop:

How many passing yards will Eli Manning have in Week 15
  • OVER 240.5 -120
  • UNDER 240.4 -120

Breesy Does it?

Probably not. Drew Brees has been godawful the last two weeks and will face the incredibly stingy pass defense of the Cardinals this time around. Sportsbook has offered a prop for whether Brees will throw more touchdowns or interceptions in Week 15 and my money’s going to be on the latter option.

The Saints slinger has had two consecutive weeks of throwing three interceptions and zero touchdowns and won’t be getting any relief against Arizona. The +135 value on the picks side of this prop is too attractive to turn down with Brees looking like he may be broken.

Elite quarterbacks seem to fall off a cliff suddenly and without warning and unfortunately, that may be what we’re seeing out of Brees right now.

Will Drew Brees Throw More Touchdowns or interceptions in Week 15
  • TD Passes -175
  • Interceptions +135
