Saturday Night Football Prop Bets For Texans vs Colts Week 18

You can see our preview for Monday night's first game here. For those of you who want to go deeper into the game, let’s delve into the player prop bets available for Monday night’s contest.

Week 18 Texans vs Colts Prop Bet: CJ Stroud OVER 1.5 Passing Touchdowns  (-110)

Stroud has thrown for multiple touchdown passes in seven of his starts this season. Including a Week 2 demolition of the Indianapolis Colts in which he completed 30-of-47 passes for 384 yards and two touchdowns. He's a massive favorite to take home the NFL Rookie of the Year trophy heading into Week 18. The Ohio State product torched the Colts earlier this year, and is a great bet to do so again. Gardner Minshew and co. are unlikely to roll over. Stroud will be forced to throw the football a ton in this matchup.

Demeco Ryans and the Texans staff have instilled a great deal of trust in their rookie passer, allowing him to attempt 33 passes per game this season. Stroud will have to ball out with the Texans' season on the line. Trust CJ Stroud to throw for OVER 1.5 Passing touchdowns on Sunday.

Week 18 Texans vs Colts Prop Bet: Dalton Schultz OVER 42.5 Receiving Yards (-120)

Schultz needs just four catches to hit a $250,000 bonus in his contract. He should have no problem getting there against a Colts defense allowing 5.6 catches and 56.6 receiving yards to opposing tight ends this season. Indianapolis allowed Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts to haul in three catches for 49 yards and a touchdown when they met two weeks ago. While Schultz isn’t the same type of athlete, he’s been a dependable target for CJ Stroud all season.

The sixth-year pro is excellent at finding the soft spot against zone coverages, which will fare well against the Colts cover-2 base. Plus, Schultz sits ninth in average depth of target, and 10th in yards per route run among tight ends this season. Bet on Schultz to fly past the 42.5 receiving yards on Saturday Night Football.
