NHL Anytime Goal Scorer Picks Feb 19

Anytime Goal Scorer Picks Feb. 19: Matthews Will Stay Red Hot

It's NHL anytime goal scorer picks time and I've got three players who are going to tickle the twine today.

For some Feb. 19th anytime goal picks I'm looking to:

Auston Matthews (-120)
The Game: Leafs vs Blues, 1 PM ET

This guy is insane. Auston Matthews is on another level, scoring back-to-back hattricks and eight goals in his last five games. He's leading the league with 48 tucks and on pace for 75 on the season.

Against a Blues team that's allowed 12 goals in their last three games, Matthews is a solid bet to tickle the twine once again. He was held off the scoresheet by St. Louis last week - a rare occurrence - so he's got some motivation to add a goal this afternoon.

Matty Beniers (+300)
The Game: Kraken vs Red Wings, 3:30 PM ET

Beniers was ice cold to start the season, unable to find the statsheet for his life. But recently, the 21-year-old forward has found his groove. Beniers has four points in hist last two games, including two goals. His ice time is drifting back up and his opportunities are there.

Tonight, he'll face off against an ice-cold Alex Lyon and the Red Wings, Lyon has allowed 11 goals in his last two outings and has a save percentage below .880 in February. I'm fading the Red Wings in general, over on my expert picks, and I like this Beniers goal value, too.

Claude Giroux (+220)
The Game: Lightning vs Senators, 7:00 PM ET

There haven't been that many reliable goal scorers in Ottawa this year, but Claude Giroux is one. The Sens winger has 18 goals on the season and is on a bit of a heater lately. He's scored three goals and six points in his last four games and has a softer matchup tonight against Tampa.

Andrei Vasilevskiy, who is currently expected to play tonight for the Lightning, just hasn't been the same guy this season. The former-stud goalie has a sub-.900 save percentage for the first time in his career this year and rocks a career-worst 2.90 goals against average, as well. Tampa also allowed nine goals to Florida last time out, so if there's ever a time to fade the Lightning, it's now.
