NHL Anytime Goal Scorer Picks. Panarin rises

NHL Anytime Goal Scorer Picks Jan 11: Panarin Keeps Rising

It's a full slate of NHL hockey tonight with 13 games on the schedule. That's a ton of options for our anytime goalscorer picks.

Read all three picks or skip to the one you're most interested in.

Edmonton Oilers vs Detroit Red Wings - Connor McDavid (+100)
The Game: Edmonton Oilers vs Detroit Red Wings, January 11, 7 PM ET

Last year's Richard Trophy winner is having a "slow" go in the goalscoring department this year with 15 in 35 games. A pace of only 35 goals (sense the sarcasm). But that's nearly half his goal output from last year.

However, in his last eight games, he's converting on 16.7% of his shots. And now he faces a Detroit team that's sporting a 0.858 SV% in its last 10 games. They aren't stopping pucks and they aren't stopping McDavid tonight.

New York Rangers vs St. Louis Blues - Artemi Panarin (+100)
The Game: New York Rangers vs St. Louis Blues, January 11, 8 PM ET

The Breadman is on fire recently with a goal in his last three games and 10 in his last 10 games. Scoring on 21.7% of his shots in that span. St. Louis is good defensively with only 2.6 goals against in their last five and Panarin has only ever scored five goals in 20 career games against the Blues but I'm not going against a guy who's scoring at this rate.

He's also sporting an eight-game point streak with 14 in those eight games. So maybe sprinkle a unit or two on Panarin scoring OVER 1.5 points tonight at +105.

Chicago Blackhawks vs Winnipeg Jets - Nikolaj Ehlers (+145)
The Game: Chicago Blackhawks vs Winnipeg Jets, January 11, 8 PM ET

Since Kyle Connor was sidelined with injury, Ehlers has stepped up big in the goals-scoring department. In his last 13 games, Ehlers has scored seven goals. And with a team-high 59 shots on net since December 1, it's clear the Jets are actively feeding Ehlers

In Chicago's last five road games, they've allowed 4.8 goals per game. So you know there's going to be chances for Winnipeg in this one. And at the rate they're feeding Ehlers, it's very likely he'll find the back of the net.
