NHL Anytime Goal Scorer Picks. Matthews scores vs Flames

NHL Anytime Goal Scorer Picks Jan 18: Ton Of Value With Chalk Picks

NHL anytime goal props are some of my favorite bets to make. That's because you can get great odds on even the best goal scorers in the league to pop one in. It's incredibly valuable.

To prove it, in today's anytime goal picks I'm backing some of the best goal scorers and none have a line lower than -135.

Avalanche vs Bruins - David Pastrnak (-135)
The Game: Colorado Avalanche vs Boston Bruins, 7 PM ET

For a player who converts as often as Pastrnak does, you'd think his shooting percentage would be insanely high. But the truth of the matter is Pasta's percentage is only 12.1%. It's all about volume for Pasta, he's averaging 5 shots on net per night.

In their last two games, Colorado has allowed 74 shots on net or an average of 37. Pasta doesn't need much of an opportunity to get pucks in the net. He's going to get his chances against Colorado and should convert at least once.

Side bet: OVER 4.5 shots for Pastrnak at -125 tonight.

Wild vs Lightning - Nikita Kucherov (-120)
The Game: Minnesota Wild vs Tampa Bay Lightning, 7 PM ET

Only Matthews and Reinhart have more goals than Kucherov's 28. Now Kuch takes on the third-worst offensive team since the start of the New Year. The Wild have allowed 3.88 goals per game since Jan 1.

Kuch hasn't scored in three games so you know he's due. Tonight is his night.

Maple Leafs vs Flames - Auston Matthews (-120)
The Game: Toronto Maple Leafs vs Calgary Flames, 9 PM ET

Matthews leads the league in goals with 34 on the season. He's converting on a career-high 19.4% of his shots. Not even good goalies can stop him.

And tonight, Dan Vladar is likely to get the start for the Flames. Vladar is averaging 0.885SV% and 3.30GAA. Not what you would call "good goalie stats". With the way Matthews is playing, Vladar isn't stopping him.
