NCAA Hockey Championship March 23

NCAA Hockey: Odds to win Frozen Four

The bracket is set for the 2018 NCAA men’s hockey championship and 16 teams are vying for their spot in the Frozen Four with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the St. Cloud State Huskies as the favorites to win it all at +400.

St. Cloud State had the best record in the country and is the No. 1 overall seed in the tourney. The Huskies sport four NHL draftees including forward Ryan Poehling, who was drafted 25th by the Montreal Canadiens in 2017.

Last year’s Sportsbook Denver is at +500 and the Pioneers rank second all-time for national championships with eight.

Other 1 seeds in the bracket include Notre Dame, Cornell at +700 and Ohio State at +800. Only Cornell has won a national championship among those four teams and its most recent title, the second for the Big Red, was back in 1970.

Last year’s Sportsbook Denver is at +500 and the Pioneers rank second all-time for national championships with eight. Denver will have a potential matchup with Ohio State in the next round but should be heavily considered by bettors to win it all as the Pioneers topped St. Cloud State last week to win the NCHC and also own two victories this season vs Notre Dame.
